The Netflix era in WWE has been in place for the last 2 years. WWE under Triple H has seen the introduction of new title belts in the last 2-3 years. The women have been the main beneficiaries of this change. WWE on Netflix has seen more titles being defended, which means more WWE superstars get the opportunity to become champions. This has also reignited the internal competition within the wrestlers.

1. Women’s Intercontinental Championship
The Women’s Intercontinental Championship is the newest title to be introduced. It has also become the most prestigious belt out of all the new ones that have been introduced. This belt has been made to feel important because WWE has consistently focused on this belt with meaningful storylines.
Becky Lynch has been the star with this belt. She elevated Lyra Valkyria and Maxxine Dupri to the main event level while being the champion. Lyra Valkyria was also the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, as was Maxxine Dupri. AJ Lee is the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion and had a big match at WrestleMania 42.
2. Women’s United States Championship
This belt was introduced at the same time as the Intercontinental Championship for the women. The women were finally getting to fight for midcard titles, which they so richly deserve. The Women’s United States Championship has also helped careers. Chelsea Green has been the best champion with this belt, and she has become one of the most favorite women in the WWE.
Giulia has also been a 2-time Women’s United States Champion, and she is looking to get a match at WrestleMania 42. This belt has not had the level of storylines as the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Zelina Vega won her first WWE title while being the Women’s United States Champion.
3. NXT Women’s North American Championship
The NXT Women’s North American Championship is the midcard title for the women of NXT. It was first introduced in 2024, and the first champion was Kelani Jordan when she won a ladder match. This belt has seen some really talented wrestlers become champions. Izzy Dame, Fallon Henley, and now Tatum Paxley have all held this belt.
This belt is the stepping stone to the main event scene at NXT or to going to the main roster. Tatum Paxley has the opportunity to make this belt the most important in NXT. Blake Monroe was also the NXT Women’s North American Champion.
4. WWE Women’s Speed Championship
This is the fourth women’s belt in a row to feature on this list. The Women’s Speed Championship is already better than the Men’s. The Speed Championship was first introduced on X, the social media platform, but now it has been included in the week-to-week programming in NXT. The first Women’s Speed Champion was Candice Lerae.
The Speed Championship is contested in a 5-minute match where either wrestler has to get the pin and become champion. The current champion is Fallon Henley from November 2025. There will be a match between Thea Hail and Wren Sinclair to determine the new number 1 contender.
5. WWE Tag Team Championship
The WWE Tag Team Championship was introduced on SmackDown as their exclusive tag team belt. The first champions were Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. This belt saw its peak in 2025 at SummerSlam, where there was a ladder match for the belts in a 6-team contest. The Wyatt Socks have also held these belts.
The MFT are the current champions. It has been sad to see the decline of these belts from SummerSlam last year to being reduced to number 5 in this list. Hopefully there are more teams that can revitalize the tag team division on SmackDown. Fraxiom and The Street Profits were teams that used to fight for this belt in 2025.
6. WWE Speed Championship
It says a lot that out of the 6 new championship belts introduced in WWE, the last 2 are held by the men. The Men’s Speed Championship is the older of the 2 speed belts, but it has lost relevance. The first Speed Champion was Ricochet, and he was an excellent champion. There are 5-minute matches to determine the speed champion. WWE Superstars for the future currently hold these belts. The current champion is Elio LeFleur, who won it in February 2026. He has defeated Jasper Troy for this belt. The Men’s Speed Championship has a lot of work to do to catch up to the women.
