Seth Rollins has been back in WWE for a month since his injury and he has been feuding with Paul Heynan on the microphone. Seth Rollins was not medically cleared therefore he didn’t have an opponent for WrestleMania 42. And that suspense was lifted on Raw from Madison Square Garden as in a surprise Gunther was announced as his opponent for WrestleMania 42. Gunther has been out ever since he retired AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble. And the reason for his absence is clear and WWE wanted to wait for Seth Rollins to get medically cleared.

The Careers Killer has The Visionary in his sights
Seth Rollins was supposed to originally lead The Vision to WrestleMania 42 with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed by his side. Then Seth Rollins got injured and that plan was all but over. Then Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed got injured and The Vision was over before he even got the chance to begin to dominate in WWE. Then Seth Rollins returned to WWE but he was not medically cleared and he was in a feud with Paul Heynan. Paul Heynan insulted the family of Seth Rollins last week and Seth Rollins was arrested. This week Seth Rollins was finally medically cleared and he was going to make Paul Heynan pay for what he said last week about his wife and daughter. Adam Pierce throughout the night was asking Paul Heynan if he read the email that was sent to Paul Heynan. Paul Heynan thought this was a joke but he should have read the email.
Seth Rollins clocked Paul Heynan on the head from behind and was going for the stomp. However at that moment The Career Killer Gunther appeared and he had Seth Rollins in a sleeper hold and didn’t leave until Seth Rollins passed out. This was a surprising turn of events as everyone expected Bron Breakker to be the one to take out Seth Rollins. Gunther was absent from WWE TV for weeks and the WWE fans had been wondering where he had been. Now it is very clear as WWE were waiting for Seth Rollins to get medically cleared and as soon as that happened Gunther was back and he has an opponent for WrestleMania 42. Triple H has pulled a rabbit out of the hat because this is an actual dream match between two of the best wrestlers in the world.
The match will be fantastic and Seth Rollins vs Gunther might be the best professional wrestling match on the entire show. The WWE fans have always wanted to see these two men fight and now these two have 2 weeks of storytelling to make the WWE fans even more excited for this match. Gunther is looking more ruthless than ever and the story will be why Gunther helps out Paul Heynan. There is no apparent connection between the two. That could be the thread and Seth Rollins saying that he will end the Career Killer. This is a match between two of the favourites of Triple H. His first student vs his current favourite. The Match Card for WrestleMania 42 is significantly better than the disappointing WrestleMania 41 card.
