1. The New Day (11 Reigns ):

The New Day has achieved all this greatness in just 7 years and that is astonishing. They arrived on the scene in 2014 and were not very liked initially but as the months and years passed by, slowly became the best tag team of their generation winning tag titles left right and center. They became believed by the WWE universe as well and they were such great wrestlers and such entertaining people that WWE more often gave them the responsibility of being tag team champions and they fulfilled it to the very best. Their longest reign was for a record 483 days where they beat everyone in front of them.

2. The Dudley Boyz (10 Reigns):

Before the New Day arrived on the scene in 2014, it can be comfortably said that the Dudley Boys were the single greatest tag team in WWE History. Their success in the time where tag team wrestling was at its peak is simply staggering. They won a total of 10 tag team titles in WWE and they had the coolest tag team finisher, The 3D and they are still widely respected by all the tag teams who wrestle now, their legacy is unparalleled and will likely never be duplicated.

3. The Steiner Brothers (9 Reigns):

One of the most legendary tag teams of the 1990s and they won tag team titles in both WWE and WCW and they were two dominant dudes who knew how to break bones and dominate their opponents. Rick and Scott Steiner were the epitomy of a big tag team who were simply unstoppable. They were also beloved by the fans and the legendary Steiner math was a thing of beauty in the past. Tag team wrestling was at its best during that time with multiple teams winning lots of gold.

4. The Usos (7 Reigns):

Jimmy and Jey Uso first debuted in WWE in 2010 and they were not big stars for a few years as they applied face paint and were static and going nowhere. Then came the heel turn which changed everything for them and their rivalry with the New Day took them to a new level and they were simply unstoppable from there on. They kept winning tag team titles on SmackDown and were dominant tag team champions but it is the 7tb reign as the part of The Bloodline that is their longest and the best of their career. It looks like no one will take the belts of them anytime soon.

5. Edge and Christian (7 Reigns):

The tag team of Edge and Christian were one of the founding members of the TLC match and their classics against the Dudley Boys and the Hardy Boys were simply unbelievable. They have won the tag team titles 7 times and were widely entertaining as well with their 5 second pose thing which endeared then to the fans and they are one of the greatest tag teams in WWE History without question and the fans are wondering if both these legends would reunite to go for number 8.
