The WWE Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches are going on in WWE. The Matches are becoming interesting, as many of the wrestlers that the fans like are competing in the same match. On the latest SmackDown, there were 2 Qualifying Matches that took place.
Let’s look at the addition of Trick Williams and Jacy Jayne in the Money in the Bank Matches
The Ladder Matches are getting stacked
The WWE Money in the Bank PPV will be held on 10th October, which is a sharp departure from the earlier June dates where it used to be held. WWE have had more time to think their plans through, and they have been cooking with these line-ups. On the Men’s side before tonight, Bron Breakker and Je’Von Evans had qualified, and on the women’s side, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice had qualified. The Matches that took place on SmackDown to identify the next 2 Qualifiers were Randy Orton vs Trick Williams vs Rey Fenix for the men. For the women it was Jacy Jayne vs Alexa Bliss vs Jade Cargill. There were 6 wrestlers in these matches that the WWE fans love. These Qualifying Matches show the depth in the Men’s and Women’s divisions.
The Men’s Match was chaotic, as Randy Orton was in a bad mood. He put both Trick Williams and Rey Fenix over the announce table and slammed them. Lil Yachty also got the same treatment when he tried to interfere. Rey Fenix hit the Goodbye Amigo finisher on Randy Orton, but Trick Williams stopped the pinfall. To close out the match, Randy Orton hit the RKO on Rey Fenix, but Trick Williams hit the TrickShot on Randy Orton and pinned Rey Fenix for the win. The Women’s Match was 2 heels and Alexa Bliss.
Jacy Jayne got up at the announce table and was saying that she is the greatest, and Alexa Bliss slammed her to the floor. Alexa Bliss then went hammer and tonks on Jacy Jayne as she hit a CannonBall on the floor, followed by Twisted Bliss. Jade was suplexing both her opponents with ease. Alexa Bliss hit Sister Abigail on Jacy Jayne, but Jade stopped the count.
Jade Cargill hit her finisher, Jaded, on Alexa Bliss, and Jacy Jayne, being the perfect heel, pinned Alexa Bliss and won the match. On the women’s side there are three young WWE women who are in the ladder match.
There will be more Qualifying Matches in the coming weeks. These triple threats allow 18 of the best men and women to try and get one of the 6 spots in the Money in the Bank Ladder Matches. The WWE superstar that wins that match will earn a guaranteed World title opportunity to cash in anywhere for one year. The winner of this match will have the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania 43 and SummerSlam to cash in on in 2027.
