In the previous article we talked about part 1 of the results of last night’s elimination chamber involving the matches featuring the women on the show so now it’s time to talk about the other 5 matches that took place in the show elimination chamber last night and there were matches among these 4 that were good and some that were not so good unlike the women where all the matches were good to great.
The results of these matches were predictable but that doesn’t mean that they were not enjoyable, they were different kinds of matches and there was one match that didn’t happen at all and there is no idea why they flew these talent to Jeddah of there was no plan to have this particular match. So , let’s get to the results.
Miz vs Rey Mysterio (Won by Rey Mysterio)
This was the match that happened on the ore show and some might say it was one of the two best men’s matches of the night and nothing less was expected from these two veterans who know how to work a match and tell a story and that’s exactly what they did. Miz was trying every truck in the book to win this match and he even made sure that Dominik Mysterio was banged from ringside and even then Rey Mysterio pulled through and won the match thus causing Miz a lot of frustration and after the match both Rey and Dominik Mysterio attached the Miz together and left him laying.
Roman Reigns vs Goldberg (Won by Roman Reigns)
This match for the Universal Championship between these two icons was the match that started the main show and Roman Reigns was the first one out and he got a great reaction and before the match he asked the crowd to acknowledge him and they rightfully did and then came out Goldberg. They had a short but good match as Goldberg hit multiple spears on Roman Reigns and it looked like Goldberg would win the match but it was Roman Reigns who pulled through and as Goldberg was going for the Jackhammer, Roman applied the Guillotine hold and eventually after long resistance Goldberg passed out and Roman will not go to WrestleMania to face Brock Lesnar.
Mad Cap Moss vs Drew McIntyre (Won by Drew McIntyre)
This match was way better than it had any right to be and especially after one scary spot the way Mad Cap Moss pulled through to complete the match , the fans have new found respect for him and the tough dude that he is. It was a Falls Count Anywhere match which meant that pinfall could happen anywhere and both these Superstars went at it and early in the match Drew slammed Mad Cap Moss right on his head and everyone was so scared but he rose and was in better shape and completed the match and the fans were in awe of how he was able to do that. And the finish where Drew was holding the sword in one hand and giving the Claymore kick to win the match was awesome.
Viking Raiders vs Usos (Did not start)
This is the match that I am taking about where the match did not even start as when the Viking Raiders were coming into the ring that time The Usos attacked them from behind and the Viking Raiders were unable to compete so the match could not start but hopefully all of these performers got paid very well to go there and doing this.
WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match (Won by Brock Lesnar)
It was finally time for the main event of the evening which was the Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE universe and the line-up was stacked for this one and it included different skill sets as well. The big guys in Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar, the wrestlers in AJ Styles and Seth Rollins and the young stars like Riddle and Austin Theory. The match started between Seth Rollins and Austin Theory and they were having a good match but in between Seth hit a buckle bomb and Austin Theory went straight to Bobby Lashley who was concussed and taken out of the match as a result and then came AJ Styles and Riddle and the Four of them were having a great match and finally it was the turn of Brock Lesnar to arrive and he left everyone laying. He eliminated Riddle first and then Seth Rollins and AJ Styles was next and finally it was between Austin Theory and Brock Lesnar and Theory took the most devastating F5 from the top of the lod and Brock Lesnar won the WWE championship and now it will be Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar for both the WWE championship and the Universal Championship at the same time in a colossal match.
