WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 will be the last PPV before WrestleMania 42. WWE would want to make a statement at this show as the ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 have been slow and not up to the mark. The best way to do that is via surprises at the show. Chris Jericho
WWE has been doing a storyline where a box was delivered to WWE on Raw last Monday and WWE was told not to open it until 28th February 2026 which is the day of Elimination Chamber PPV. This has resulted in fans speculating that this box is none other than Chris Jericho. It has long been rumoured that Chris Jericho will be returning to WWE this year. His shows with his band are over and he can now return to WWE and have a match at WrestleMania 42. The fans will be happy seeing the living legend back home for one last run.
Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar will be at WrestleMania 42 and will have a match at the show. He has not been announced for the PPV and therefore he will be a massive surprise if he appears at the show. Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest names in WWE history. He is hated in the City of Chicago and as a heel he will love that reaction. Brock Lesnar can attack anyone at the show and send a message to Oba Femi. He has been appearing sporadically and Triple H knows that Elimination Chamber will be a big show to build up excitement for WrestleMania 42.
Charlotte Flair
In a shock on Friday night, Charlotte Flair did not qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match. Kiana James pinned her and therefore she is not advertised for the show. She is Charlotte Flair and she will not take it well not being in a title match at WrestleMania 42. Therefore she could appear as a surprise and can turn heel and attack Alexa Bliss or Kiana James. Kiana James is her best friend in real life and therefore Charlotte Flair would not want to take her spot. Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 42 will be a massive match. She will get a big babyface pop which will be a first for her in Chicago.
Roman Reigns
CM Punk will compete at the Elimination Chamber PPV in a match against Finn Balor. Roman Reigns will face CM Punk at WrestleMania 42 for the World Heavyweight Championship. After the match when CM Punk beats Finn Balor, Roman Reigns could appear as a surprise and confront CM Punk at the end of the show. The fans will absolutely lose their minds and CM Punk will feel a little uneasy seeing Roman Reigns getting cheered by Chicago. The Tribal Chief makes an appearance and becomes the main act of the PPV. It could be a very special show in Chicago in front of 15,000 fans.
