We talked about the first 3 Matches of the show today in Part 1 of our results article and this part will be the concluding part and in this one the main event of the show will always be one of the most memorable matches any Wrestling fan has ever seen in their lives, but we will get to that later abs before that the run of good Matches continued in the show. Every WWE superstar looked like they wanted to show out tonight and make this a great show.
In this part we will talk about the other 4 Matches on this show and here there was a mix of youth and experience on the show and it made for a nice combination of matches. So , let’s get into Part 2 of the WWE Hell in a Cell 2022 Results.
The Judgment Day vs AJ Styles,Finn Balor and Liv Morgan
This was the 4th match on the show and this was one of the best 6 person tag Matches in recent memory. The Judgement Day comprising of Edge, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley looked menacing in their entrance and they needed this win to look credible but their opponents Liv ,AJ Styles and Finn Balor were determined to not let that happen. At first both the ladies got time to shine and they beat the hell out of each other then the Guys took over and All four of these great wrestlers told such a good story and Finn Balor took so much punishment that the crowd wanted AJ Styles to kick some heads and after a great back and forth it was Rhea Ripley who got in the way of Finn Balor and in the end Edge hit the spear and won a very important match for The Judgement Day. This win gives more credibility to the group.
Happy Corbin vs Madcap Moss – No Holds Barred Match
This was the lone SmackDown match on the card and that says a lot about the state of that roster and hopefully at Money in the bank they will get more Matches. This was a great match as both men went hard at each other with everything they had and Corbin was such a great heel that he never got the tables in this match just to pisa off the crowd and Moss was looking great in his hew avatar which is serious and can beat anyone and he beat Happy Corbin to move ahead in his career.
Theory vs Mustafa Ali – United States Championship
If there was 1 match on the show that was the least quality it would be this match which would be the co main event and the hometown hero Ali came out to a rapturous reception and everyone was hoping that he would win the title but it was not to be as Theory was impressive in his first defense of the title and won a short match which was 7 minutes and most likely he will face John Cena at SummerSlam.
Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins – Hell in a Cell Match
Now we finally come to the main event of the show and before the show WWE announced that Cody Rhodes had torn his pectoral muscle and the fans got worried but he was there as was Seth Rollins and the crowd in Chicago was excited untill Cody Rhodes opened his dress and everyone saw how bad the injury is and seeing the purple and everyone gasped collectively. Any normal man would have not performed but tonight Cody Rhodes gave a performance that will be defined as one of the all time great performances and going 25 minutes with Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell and still giving the second best wrestling match on the show with one arm says everything. And also Seth Rollins was the perfect opponent as he was always protective of Cody and made sure that Cody was safe in his Hands. It was one of the most extraordinary wrestling matches that will become a great memory forever. I wish Cody Rhodes all the best in his recovery and he won a lot more fans and respect after tonight.
