WWE just aired its first commercial for WrestleMania 42 and it is safe to say that this is the most news that a commercial for a WWE Event has generated in some time. WWE made full use of Twitter to build it for days and the fans were guessing what it could be. Some internet fans who are fickle got upset when it was not something they wanted. WrestleMania 42 will take place in Las Vegas again on 18th and 19th April 2026.

It all started a week ago when WWE first dropped a teaser where they only dropped a pair of shoes walking. It was only dropped on Twitter because WWE knew that the fans on the internet would go wild with their speculation. That is exactly what happened as the tweet was viewed almost 10 million times. WWE then followed it with 3 more teasers of different shoes walking. The fans thought that it was Gunther and his new faction. After a few days a report came out that it was a part of the WrestleMania 42 Commercial. That made the fans on Twitter angry because WWE used them and their reach to get the promotion they wanted. The IWC is as fickle minded as anything that exists in the world.
WWE finally dropped the teaser which was one minute long. The commercial started with Triple H as he was showing players getting ready to play poker. On the table was Cody Rhodes the WWE Champion, The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, CM Punk who is the best in the world and The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. This in itself was a surreal visual to see considering what has happened with each of these 4 men in the past 10 years. Cody Rhodes went away from WWE and came back a bigger star . Roman Reigns became the Tribal Chief and became the face of WWE. CM Punk left WWE in 2014 and then he came back and is one of the most popular stars. Brock Lesnar was out of WWE in early 2024 and he came back at SummerSlam 2025. The commercial ended with Paul Heynan with Triple H looking at these 4 men.
