The 2025 Raw after WrestleMania was one of the best in recent memory. Raw after WrestleMania is a show where new stories start and the WWE ushers in a new direction and there are surprises on this show. This Raw after WrestleMania had everything and then some. The fans who were unhappy after WrestleMania 41 are not instantly excited for the new road ahead for WWE.
Let’s look at the Raw after WrestleMania 41 Results
Randy Orton RKOs John Cena
The show started with the 17 time WWE Champion John Cena. He came out to his new tron which is black and white. John Cena first asked the ring announcer to come to the ring and announce him like John wanted to. He then proceeded to make fun of the fans and said that they owed him an apology. The fans said sorry but John Cena was not buying it. He then said that he had 27 more dates left in the year and then he was gone. The crowd booed Cody Rhodes and John Cena was quick to prove his point. As he was pointing at the title, Randy Orton was behind and he hit John Cena with an RKO. It looks like it will be John Cena vs Randy Orton at WWE Backlash.
Becky Lynch Turns Heel
Next was a rematch for the tag team championship between Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria. This was a much better match than they had at WrestleMania 41. The women were given time and Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez won back the tag team titles for the fourth time. After the match, Becky Lynch turned Heel and she brutally attacked Lyra Valkyria. A feud between these two women will be great and Lyra will be made a Star. The Women’s Intercontinental Championship will be important again.
Rusev Returns to WWE
Raw after WrestleMania is always about surprises and returns. A huge return happened as Rusev who was in AEW for a number of years as Miro returned to the WWE. The fans were chanting Rusev Day but he destroyed the Alpha Academy and he is a heel. This character can be a big Star in the mid card division. He also has a new theme which is incredible. Aiden English is a free agent and Lana is also in WWE. Triple H can give Rusev the whole package. He can join the faction led by Paul Heyman.
The WWE Women’s Division is on fire
The Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky was out next. She got a huge pop from the fans. She said that WrestleMania 41 was the biggest win of her career. She was emotional and then Stephanie Vaquer arrived and the fans went crazy. The NXT Women’s Champion was here and this was a dream match happening for Free. These two women were having a Banger but Giulia and Roxanne Perez interrupted and attacked both. However, Rhea Ripley arrived and she and Giulia had a face off. This was women’s wrestling at its best and Triple H was showing off to the world that WWE has the greatest women in the world.
The OG Bloodline celebrates with Jey Uso
Jey Uso made his first entrance as the World Heavyweight Champion. The fans were Yeeting all over the place. Jey was emotional and he said that he will be a fighting champion. Sami Zayn came out and he was happy for his friend Jey Uso. They hugged and it almost looked like he was going to turn heel. However, Jimmy Uso joined in and the OG Bloodline had a great moment. They recreated their handshake. It looks like Sami Zayn will turn heel in the coming weeks and have a match against Jey Uso. Sami will be feeling angry as he was not at WrestleMania.
Karrion Kross and Gunther make an impact
Karrion Kross had an incredible promo on the WrestleMania Sunday recap that went viral. He again had a great moment with AJ Styles in Raw. He told him that he was the best of the wrestlers and he has legitimised Logan Paul. He was also happy as The New Day listened to him and are not tag team champions.
Gunther had probably the most shocking moment of Raw. He came out and went after the commentators. He first attempted to choke out Michael Cole but Pat McAfee came in between. Gunther choked out Pat for several minutes and Pat was out of Raw. Joe Tessitore was in casuals as the replacement. Pat McAfee will not take this lightly.
Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker form a Dangerous Alliance
The main event of the show was Seth Rollins with Paul Heyman. Seth Rollins said that he took the wiseman from Roman Reigns and the best friend from CM Punk. Then CM Punk came out and he started attacking Seth Rollins. However, Seth Rollins till care of CM Punk. As Paul Heyman said that Seth Rollins was the number 1 top Star then the music of Tribal Chief Roman Reigns hits and the crowd went berserk. He hit the Spear on Seth Rollins. As he was going to spear Paul Heyman, he got a Spear by Bron Breakker. Then Seth and Bron took out CM Punk and Roman Reigns. This has become the most powerful faction in WWE in one night. And it looks like there will be more members added to it.
