This match is one that the fans are the most nervous about. It was known that AJ Styles would retire in 2026 but nobody thought that it would be in the first month of the year at the Royal Rumble. The match is against Gunther who has become a certifiable career ender with Goldberg and John Cena added to the list. Predicting a winner in this match is one of the hardest things as both men cannot afford to lose. Gunther just retired John Cena and he cannot lose a match anytime soon. AJ Styles’s career will end if he loses at the Royal Rumble. The fans want to see him go throughout the year just like John Cena. The 30 Man Royal Rumble Match is the oldest gimmick match in WWE history. It has been there since 1988 and this is the match that has made the greatest moments and made superstars in one night. The 2026 Royal Rumble Match has some heavy hitters. Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Gunther and Cody Rhodes will be there as the former winners.
