WWE is rebuilding the Tag Team Division

The Tag Team Division has been the worst division in the company for more than 6 months. The Women’s Tag Team Division has been a ray of sunshine but the Men’s Tag Team Division has been a mess. WWE and Triple H have taken it upon themselves to make both the Raw and SmackDown tag team divisions formidable again.

Let’s take a look as to how WWE will rebuild the tag team division

Tag Team Wrestling Is Back in WWE

There are two sets of Tag Team Championships on Raw and SmackDown. They are the World Tag Team Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship. The Vision are the Tag Team Champions on Raw and MFT are the champions on SmackDown. WWE had a bad women’s tag team division but they have worked on it and superstars like Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Rhea Ripley were a part of tag teams and the titles became a permanent part of PPVs. Now that the division is established, it is time to put focus on the men’s. On Raw, The return of The Street Profits is the first sign that the tag division on Raw is in rebuilding. The Street Profits are in pursuit of the titles.

Logan Paul has gotten injured and so Austin Theory is the tag team champion on his own but Paul Heynan has told him that he will team with other members of The Vision such as Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The Alpha Academy, The Judgement Day are also tag teams that will try to win the title. On SmackDown the tag team division is in more dire need of a rebuild. The champions are MFT but there are no other tag teams. There have been reports that FTR are thinking whether to extend their AEW contracts and WWE wants them to re-sign. Fraxiom was also a part of the tag team division but they have become solo wrestlers.

It will take 6 months before the tag team divisions are once again complete. The first step will be to put the Raw Tag Team Championship on PPV. The Street Profits should win the tag team titles and they should Feud with other great teams. The Vision will have to ensure that there are no further injuries to their faction. On SmackDown it will take a longer time but with the potential signing of FTR and the signing of Enzo and Big Casa in the near future that can be repaired. It will be beneficial for WWE to have a thriving tag team division.
