WWE Unreal Season 2 is the second season in the Netflix Documentary series that WWE and Netflix have teamed up to give the fans. It is a behind the scenes look into their tricks that make the magic of professional wrestling. This has been a great look at the WWE superstars as personalities and knowing about their real life. Season 3 will arrive in June 2026.
Let’s Review the second season of WWE Unreal
Episode 1
The first episode of season 2 of WWE Unreal focusses on Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch and Pat McAfee. This episode focusses on Becky Lynch in a great deal as she talks about the time off she took in 2024. She talks about the online chatter about her and the reality that she has to stay away from her daughter. Becky Lynch told that this would be her final full time run as a professional wrestler. It also talks about the match between Pat McAfee vs Gunther at WWE Backlash. This was a storyline pitched by Michael Cole. It was a good match and Pat got his flowers. This episode also shows Bruce pitching for Pat McAfee to win a match against Gunther.
Episode 2
This was perhaps the best episode of the season. It focussed on R Truth and Naomi and their journeys in WWE then getting released and then coming back to the WWE. This episode talks about the start of the journey of R Truth and how Road Dogg helped him get to the WWE. They share a beautiful friendship. This episode also talks about Naomi and her walking out of WWE in 2022. Naomi returned to the WWE in 2024. R Truth was let go from his contract and there was anger and sadness amongst everyone. Triple H and Nick Khan brought back R Truth as a surprise at Money in the Bank. It was a great look at 2 beloved WWE superstars.
Episode 3
This episode was about the present and the future of WWE. This episode featured Seth Rollins after WrestleMania 41 where he formed the Vision with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Paul Heynan was a focal point of this episode. This episode also talks about Chelsea Green and it shows that she is building her dream home and her disappointment about dropping the United States Championship. Penta was a heavy feature of this episode as it showed the start of his journey to WWE. Paul Heynan said that Penta will become a big WWE superstar. It also shows the Money in the Bank match and LA Knight got a spot wrong.
Episode 4
This episode was a good look at the behind the scenes of what went into the Seth Rollins injury angle, the likes of which WWE has rarely done. It shows how secretive the operation was and how Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch had to lie to everyone. This episode also shows the viewpoint of Bayley of having to miss a WrestleMania match and Becky Lynch trying to not take her spot. It also shows scrapped plans where it had Roman Reigns vs Bron Breakker, Trish Stratus vs TBD at SummerSlam. This episode also showcased WWE Evolution in a big way. Naomi was shown preparing for her cash in. Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky were shown going over their iconic match in the main event.
