Revival of WWE Women’s Tag Team Division

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship was introduced as a joke in 2018 when Vince McMahon as Santa introduced this title. Since then this division has been the worst in the entire company. No tag team has been able to elevate the tag team division for the women. However it has all changed in the last 12 months. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship has become one of the most important titles in WWE.

Let’s look at 5 Teams that are responsible for Revival of WWE Women’s Tag Team division

The Kabuki Warriors

The Kabuki Warriors are the tag team that are responsible for the tag team division for the women. They have been the longest tenured team in the women’s division. They have been a tag team for more than 4 years. They have been multi time tag team champions. There are teams with superstars together but this is the one proper tag team that has kept the interest in those titles alive. Now they are reaping the rewards as they are feuding against the likes of Rhiyo, The Bella Twins etc.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss

These two women are responsible for the importance the tag team division has got over the past 12 months. Charlotte Flair is arguably the greatest of all time when it comes to women. Alexa Bliss is one of the biggest superstars In the women’s division. When these two women came together as a tag team there were a lot of fans that thought this was unnecessary and both women deserve better. However the result was the opposite. Charlotte Flair got over as a babyface and her and Alexa Bliss won the tag team titles. These two women elevated each other and the tag team division as a whole.

Rhiyo

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky have been a team for a few months. These two women are the two biggest stars in WWE today. They are also the best wrestlers in the world. These two have had some excellent matches. When they became a tag team it was thought that this was a part time thing and one of them would turn on the other. However, these two are the current women’s tag team champions and they have developed excellent tag team chemistry even inventing their own tag team moves. They are also best friends in real life which helps. These two should not break up any time soon as the WWE fans love them as babyfaces. They have teams such as The Bella Twins, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, The Judgement Day to face.

The Judgement Day

The Judgement Day has been a faction for over 4 years. During that time there have been many women that have been together on The Judgement Day. Currently there are three women within the group. There is Liv Morgan who is the Royal Rumble Winner and there is Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. They are also responsible for the Revival of the tag team division as they have been feuding with everyone. Rhiyo, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. They are the heels that are required. Judgement Day has won the tag team titles a few times.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria

The 5th tag team that are responsible for the Revival of the WWE Women’s Tag Team division are Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. These two have been a tag team for almost 8 months. They have been arguing during their run as a tag team but these two complement each other very well as a team. They are very close to winning the tag team titles. They have a feud ready to go against The Bella Twins who eliminated them from the Royal Rumble Match. They are a tag team where Bayley is also mentoring Lyra Valkyria in the process. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship is in good hands for the future.
