WWE Wrestlepalooza is the first PPV for WWE ESPN. It happened in Indianapolis in front of 15,000 fans. There were 5 Matches on the show and the fans on social media reacted differently to all 5 Matches. This is the start of a new partnership between WWE and ESPN. The biggest WWE superstars performed and a new Champion was crowned.
Let’s look at the Results for WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025
Brock Lesnar beat John Cena
This was the first match on the show and the one that has caused a section of fans on social media to crash out. They were not happy about the result. Brock Lesnar made his entrance and the mood completely changed. He was looking his menacing best. John Cena came out in yellow and he was with kids on the entrance ramp. This was a very short match which was 9 minutes. John Cena gave 3 AAs to Brock Lesnar but Brock kicked out easily. After that it was one F5 after the other. Brock Lesnar gave 6 F5s to John Cena and pinned him to win the match. The result was expected but the way it played out is something that very few expected. After the match, Brock Lesnar gave an F5 to the referee and one more to John Cena.
Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed beat The Usos
The second match of the night was the first of 2 tag team Matches and it was The Usos vs The Brons. The Usos made their entrance together and they had the music of their tag team. This was a competitive match and The Usos were a United front. This was a 17 minute match. The special guest referee was LA Knight. He allowed a lot of leeway to especially Jimmy Uso. Jimmy Uso gave a Superkick to Bronson Reed and then hit him with a steel chair which the referee LA Knight allowed. Bron hit a suplex on Jimmy Uso for a 2 count. The Usos brought a table to the ring but they were stopped by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Bron Breakker speared Jimmy Uso which was followed by Jey spearing Bron Breakker. Jey Uso and the referee LA Knight were arguing and a steel chair almost hit LA Knight. Bron gave a double Spear to The Usos and Bronson Reed finished the match with a Tsunami.
Stephanie Vaquer beat Iyo Sky for Women’s World Championship
This dream match was finally happening on a big PPV and they got 20 minutes to steal the show. Both women started with a show of respect. They then traded quick pinfalls but neither got the win. Iyo Sky hit a basement Dropkick to Stephanie Vaquer. Stephanie Vaquer hit a leg drop for a 2 count. Iyo Sky did a Suicide dive between the ropes on the floor. Iyo Sky was hit with stiff knees as she was trying to hit a Sunset flip Powerbomb. Both women hit German Suplexes and both got near falls. Stephanie Vaquer hit a Dragon screw on the leg which injured Iyo Sky. Iyo Sky went for the finisher MoonSault but she was blocked by Stephanie Vaquer. Stephanie finally hit the Devil’s Kiss and the SVB for a close 2 count. Iyo Sky removed her knee pads and hit a brutal double knee. She went for the MoonSault but Stephanie Vaquer blocked and then she hit a spinning Torneo Dive for the win. This was the best match of the night thus far.
CM Punk and AJ Lee beat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch
This was probably the most anticipated match of the night. This was also the biggest Mixed tag team match in a decade. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch made a grand entrance in matching purple gear. Their fashion choices are a thing. CM Punk made his entrance first and then the roar for AJ Lee as she made her entrance for her first match in 10 years. This was a 30 minute match but it came to be divided into 2 parts. The first half of the match was all Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins doing everything so that AJ Lee does not get tagged in the match. They take full advantage of the referee being an idiot. AJ Lee was not in the match for almost 13 minutes. Seth Rollins was mocking AJ Lee with the skip but CM Punk caught him with a GTS. After this the tag happened and AJ Lee was In the ring for the first time in 10 years. She hit a Thesz Press on Becky Lynch. AJ Lee gave a beautiful Spinkick to Becky Lynch. AJ Lee hit a Crossbody for a 2 count. The fans were loving it and chanting You Still Got it. Seth Rollins tried to stop AJ Lee and Becky Lynch hit the Manhandle Slam but she was unable to win the match. There was a cool moment when AJ Lee had the Black Widow on Becky Lynch and CM Punk had the Sharpshooter on Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins hit pedigrees at the same time but only got a 2 count. CM Punk stomped Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch had the Sharpshooter on CM Punk. CM Punk finally got his revenge on Becky Lynch and AJ Lee hit the Stomp on Seth Rollins. AJ Lee made Becky Lynch tap to the Black Widow to win this incredible match.
