Lasith Malinga:


Srilankan pacer Lasith Malinga is undoubtedly, one of the vest players in the history of IPL. He has played in IPL from the 2nd season onwards for the team MI. This exceptional player is very well known for his confusing bowling action, Yorkers and his swing. It is through the amazing bowling spells of Malinga, MI won three IPL trophies. Malinga holds record for taking most wickets in IPL history and has an economy of 6.86 at an average 19.01. He also bagged the purple cap for most wickets in the year 2011 taking 28 wickets from 13 matches. 


Chris Gayle:


How can some who loves limited over cricket match, not know about Chris Gayle? He is the most destructive batsmen the game has ever seen. Surely he is one of the most valuable and best foreign players in IPL too. Gayle started his IPL career with KKR where he was in a bad form. Later after three seasons, he was bought by Bangalore Royal Challengers which was a masterstroke. Gayle became the top scorer and bagged the orange cap 2011 and 2012. In 2013, Gayle scored a wonderful 175 runs against Pune Warriors which is the highest individual score in T20 history. 


David Warner:


This Australian international is one of the best captains as well as batsmen in the history of IPL. He played for DD for the first three years of his IPL career from where he later joined SRH. Warner was bought by SRH in the 2014 IPL auctions. After joining with the team in the year 2014, Warner has become the most important player for the team. He led the team to its maiden IPL title victory in 2016 and also bagged the orange cap for top scorer in the year 2017. Clearly David Warner is the fulcrum over which the top order of SRH is moving. He has scored a total of 4014 runs from 114 matches.


Dwayne Bravo:


This West Indian player is the best all-rounder who has ever played in the history of IPL. Very well known for his destructive batting in the middle order and the death over bowling, this player has changed the course of many games. He played for MI in the first season and was bought by CSK in 2011. His amazing performance in CSK made him a permanent player in the team and also a favorite for the fans. Bravo is also the first player in IPL history to score 1000 runs as well as take 100 wickets. 


Ben Stokes:


Ben Stokes is one of the most valuable players who has played in the IPL. He played for Rising Pune Supergiant in the year 2017 and was awarded the most valuable player award that season. He scored a total of 332 runs and 12 wickets from the 2017 season alone. He then played for RR where his performance was quite not satisfying. With his talents and the skills, undoubtedly Ben Stokes is one of the best foreign players in IPL.
