Roman Reigns started his singles career in 2014 when the shield broke apart. When he started in 2014, he was well liked but it was in 2015 when the tide turned against Daniel Bryan when he beat him and the fans got so angry they started hating him. Defeating the Undertaker at WrestleMania This victory at WrestleMania was the breaking point fir the fans as they started abusing him after this and wanted him fired from WWE because they thought he is keeping the deserving people down and the WWE fans started hating on WWE as a whole as a result. The Leukemia diagnosis and the comeback
This was the hardest time for Roman personally and professionally. He was diagnosed with a recurring leukemia and he had to tell the whole world about it. It took so much courage for him to tell everyone about this and all the hatred that the fans had was washed away in a single moment as the life of a human was more important than a character and Roman beat cancer and came back Better than ever but still something was not clicking and then came the pandemic where he decided to take a break to be with his family and that turned out to be the best decision he ever made.
The Tribal Chief Rises
After skipping WrestleMania 36 due to health reasons where he was destined to win the Universal Championship, he was at home planning with WWE about how to change his character arc and with Paul Heyman involved, they came up with the Tribal Chief gimmick for him where he would be the final boss of WWE and give the fans what they have been wanting for so long, A Heel Roman Reigns. He returned at SummerSlam of 2020 and won the universal championship a week after and since then he has not looked back having rivalries of the year with Jey Uso and Daniel Bryan and having slow methodical matches. Roman Reigns was for the first time at the top of WWE.
An All time title reign
This current title reign by Roman Reigns is one of the greatest of all time without question. The matches he has had and the consistency in his work rate makes him the best professional wrestler in the world now. His run started with an all time rivalry with Jey Uso, then he had a great feud with Kevin Owens and for WrestleMania he again had an amazing rivalry with Daniel Bryan and Edge and at that night he cemented his legacy and currently he is engaged in a rivalry with Brock Lesnar and the fans are loving it. Honestly he could have a 2 year reign and no one would say a word.
