WWE has never had so many great Australian wrestlers working for them like they have now and in WWE history there are multiple Aussie WWE superstars that have done so well and made Australia proud. Australia has been a place that the WWE have ignored for a while but not anymore. WWE recently announced the Elimination Chamber at Optus Stadium in Perth. The Japanese wrestlers have always been there in WWE but this is the time for Australia. 


So, let’s look at the Top 5 Australian Wrestlers in WWE history and celebrate them 


1) Rhea Ripley

There can be no one else other than Rhea Ripley who is the best Australian WWE Superstar of all time. Rhea Ripley is the one who made Australia famous in the last 5 years in WWE. She has been a Grand Slam Champion, she is the most dominant WWE female superstar and everyone knows her and she Is still only 26 years old. Rhea Ripley best matches in wwe are a treat to watch. The potential that she has to be one of Australia’s best sporting stars ever. Rhea Ripley has won the NXT UK Women’s Championship, NXT Women’s Championship, Raw Women’s Championship, SmackDown Women’s Championship, WWE Women’s tag team champions and is currently the Women’s World Champion.


2) The Iiconics


The Iiconics were also one of the first Australian WWE Superstars who got famous very early. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were entertaining and they were also someone who got into WWE years back and they were in NXT. They were great wrestlers who used to make Australia proud in whatever they did. Billie Kay was one of the most entertaining women in WWE when she was here. They came to the main roster and they made lots of new fans and won the WWE Women’s tag team titles. Sadly the Iiconics are no longer with WWE.


3) Buddy Murphy


Buddy Murphy is one of the few WWE Superstars from Australia who has made a mark in wrestling. Buddy Murphy was in the Cruiserweight division when he first arrived in WWE. He used to have bangers against Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, Kota Ibushi and so many others. He was the Cruiserweight champion for a long time and WWE trusted him to carry the division. Later when he came to the main roster he also did very well and he had great matches against Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins and many other. Buddy Murphy was poised to become something big but he was released by WWE. 


4) Grayson Waller


It has only been a few years since Grayson Waller has been in WWE but he is easily in this list of the Top 5 WWE Wrestlers from Australia. He is one of the most famous and most well used WWE superstars and he makes sure that he represents Australia at every chance he gets. He even campaigned for WrestleMania to come to Australia. And he played a big part in seeing that WWE Elimination Chamber came to Australia and he will get a big push leading into that event. He has shared the ring with Edge, John Cena, Charlotte Flair and will do so in the future as well and win championships in WWE.


5) Nia Jax


Not a lot of people know that Nia Jax was born in Australia. She is also another WWE Superstar from Australia and now that she has returned to WWE, she will definitely be on WWE Elimination Chamber. Nia Jax is one of the most well known WWE superstars and she is a multiple time women’s champion. She has won the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 34, Women’s tag team champions and she has been in the ring against the likes of Asuka, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Bayley and is a big WWE superstar. She will also be happy to come back home to Perth.
