Jamaican Oblique Seville clinched his first Diamond League title by winning the men’s 100m race in the 2026 Diamond League Final in Brussels. It was the Diamond+ event in the 2026 Diamond League Final.
There was a false start, where the 2022 Diamond League champion Trayvon Bromell from the United States was disqualified but still ran under protest and finished eighth.
In the ultimate race, Seville took 9.90 seconds to set his first Diamond League title, just defeating Cameroonian Emmanuel Eseme, who finished in 9.93 seconds.
Kanyinsola Ajayi (9.97) from Nigeria and Lachlan Kennedy from Australia (9.99) also finished the race within 10 seconds, managing third and fourth places, respectively. Defending champion Christian Coleman (United States) finished in the sixth position [10.01 (.007)], just behind South African Gift Leotlela [10.01 (.004)].

Jamaican Oblique Seville clinched his first Diamond League title. He won the men’s 100m event at the World Athletics Championships 2025. In the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, Seville finished in eighth position in the men’s 100m Final.
In this 2026 Diamond League season, Seville won two gold medals in the men’s 100m event in Monaco and Silesia before the Final.
