With a newly formed big three, there are big things in store for the Brooklyn Nets in the future. The big three of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and DeAndre Jordan is definitely going to be explosive. The Nets got lucky with signing 3 big free agents this past summer.

Kyrie being the best ball handler in the league would be a threat to his matchups. And if his matchup is getting onto him which rarely happens, he can pass the ball outside to one of the most prolific scorers the league has ever seen in Kevin Durant. And just to be safe, they have DeAndre Jordan to clean the glass if needed.

The Nets currently aren't in contention but definitely will be next year. Injuries to Durant and Jordan led to them not qualifying the playoffs this year but will be next season. The Nets were once a dominant team in the east when they were led by Jason Kidd and Vince Carter. They also made it to the eastern conference finals and had a finals appearance then but unfortunately lost to the Spurs in 4 games. After disbanding that core, the Nets front office chose to sign free agent Deron Williams and then paired him with an aging duo of Garnett and Pierce that did not last long and was also disbanded.

The Nets currently have a good chance to win the title in the coming years with their new roster additions and coaching change.

•Current Superstars - Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant.

•Past Superstars - Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson.

•Past Legends - Drazen Petrovic.
