Located in Atlanta Georgia, the Hawks currently are a young up and coming team out of the eastern conference. Drafted by the Dallas Mavericks and then traded to Atlanta, Trae Young is their rising up and coming star rookie with a plethora of dribble moves and a quick jumpshot. The Hawks front office has done a great job surrounding their star player with some young rookies and seasoned veterans. And during his rookie year with the Hawks, Young has had many big games including 35 points with 11 assists, 17 assists with 25 points and a 49 points and 16 assists games under his belt along with many many more. Young has managed to mesmerize fans and other players with his ball handling and range extended shooting. Looks like “Logo Lillard” isn’t the only player to shoot 3 pointers from the logo.
Another player that forms a duo with Trae Young is their power forward, John Collins. A high-flying bigman with the ability to finish at the rim and catch high lobs from Young to jam it down. Collins is a great complimentary player to Young and will only flourish to become one of the deadliest one-two combo in the league.
Trae Young's Atlanta Hawks
Taurean Prince and De'andre Hunter are two more rookies to keep an eye on along with a fan favorite in Cam Reddish.
Though the Hawks have a young core that will develop steadily over the years, Atlanta currently isn't in a position to contend for the title and will likely stay out of contention for the next 3-5 years. But if Atlanta's front office chooses to keep their core intact, they will become a serious threat in the upcoming eastern conference.
