Has Virat Kohli passed the peak of his career

2011 World Cup, India was probably in the last few years of its golden era! In the serious Indian cricket history of Dravid, Sachin, Kumble, Laxman, Sehwag, Srinath and Yuvraj Singh, perhaps this was the first time that the Indian team had grown so mature and flourished! Sachin Tendulkar was the attraction of that team. Early in his cricketing days, Tendulkar was more passionate about batting, but year after year, his batting skills got better!

It is not that apart from Sachin, there was no talk of any other player in that team but there was a period in Sachin Tendulkar's career when he used to be in the news, completely because of his batting! Such a phase comes in the career of every player, whether it is Brian Lara or Rahul Dravid to legends like Kumar Sangakkara! But only a few players are able to maintain it, throughout his career, questions were raised on Sachin too when his batting was not supporting him!

But Sachin is the player, of course he is called God. But once Sachin crossed his peak, there was a lot of change in his batting.

Questions are being raised on Kohli for a long time, when will Kohli score his next century and will be seen in old form! Virat Kohli came into the team at the end of the golden period of the Indian team. Perhaps Dhoni and Virat Kohli's early careers are very similar! A center of attraction, both of whom have been in discussions several times because of their batting.

From 2013 to 2017 Virat Kohli made a lot of headlines due to his charismatic batting. A 52-ball century against Australia and counter-attacking Mitchell Johnson in his peak days at Perth - that was the beginning of Kohli's peak days! His innings of 133 against Sri Lanka in Hobart was a sign that Virat would be the star of the future! In every match, the feeling that Virat would play another charismatic innings had become such a feeling!

Virat played many such innings in his peak period and got his name registered in the record book! Virat Kohli emerged as a better batsman on many occasions and showed his talent.

Kohli was also the captain but could not be as successful in captaincy as his batting prowess. In the recent year, a lot of questions have arisen, has Virat Kohli crossed his peak! Many legends believe that Virat Kohli needs some break from cricket that his old form may come back but Virat Kohli is now 33 years old.

Virat Kohli has passed the best phase of his career! Now Virat should think about where he can take his game! Instead of stretching the game without any reason! Of course Virat can play for 7-8 years from here, but that peak-round unwavering skill is probably difficult now in Virat's batting!
