While England’s T20 Blast is the earliest T20 leagues, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has gained huge popularity since its debut in 2008.
Later, Australian Big Bash League (BBL), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Sri Lankan Lanka Premier League (LPL) have also impressed as the T20 leagues.

English cricketer is holding the record for most wickets in the English T20 Blast history. The slow-left arm orthodox bowler has taken 194 wickets in 168 matches in this competition's history.
Most wickets in IPL
Till the end of the IPL 2022, Caribbean cricketer Dwayne Bravo is holding the record for most IPL wickets. The right-arm medium bowler Bravo has collected 183 wickets in 161 games of this competition.

Most wickets in BBL
Australian right-arm fast-medium Sean Abbott is currently holding the record for most BBL wickets till the 2021/22 season. He has already picked up 125 wickets in 94 games of this competition.

Most wickets in BPL
Bangladeshi slow left-arm orthodox bowler Shakib Al Hasan is holding the record for most BPL wickets. He has already got 122 wickets in 87 BPL matches till the 2021/22 season.
Most wickets in CPL
Once again the Trinidadian cricketer Dwayne Bravo is on top of the list of most CPL wickets. Till the 2021 edition, the right-arm medium has already recorded 114 wickets in 89 matches.
Most wickets in PSL
Pakistan left-arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz is the leading wicket-taker in PSL history. Till the 2021/22 season, he has got 103 wickets in 77 games.
Most wickets in LPL
Among these T20 franchise tournaments, Sri Lankan LPL is the latest. The Sri Lankan leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga is the most LPL wicket-taker with 28 wickets in 20 games.
