The club and its players will be full of confidence now, and they are heavy favourites against Leeds at home in Gameweek 23, who are a club that's known for conceding a lot of goals. Thus, it's a perfect Gameweek to bank high on Everton players, as most of them could end up giving you huge returns.
It is best to avoid Cole Palmer for the foreseeable future
Cole Palmer has not been his usual self this season, and it does seem like the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup has done huge damage to Chelsea's best player. The English midfielder suffered recurring injuries throughout this season, and was even omitted from Chelsea's Champions League squad this week due to a minor issue. With such uncertainty surrounding the player, it seems like the best option is to avoid Cole Palmer in Fantasy Premier League for the foreseeable future.
Erling Haaland might not necessarily be the best Manchester City FPL captain this week
Erling Haaland has been struggling for Manchester City in the past few weeks. However, the upcoming game Wolves is undoubtedly one where he could go back to scoring ways and give you huge returns if you choose him as your FPL captain. However, Antoine Semenyo has been brilliant in the few games he's played since joining Manchester City, and there's an argument to be made that he might be a better captain than Haaland this week in FPL. The choice is yours.
Be patient with Mohamed Salah before transferring him to your FPL team
Mohamed Salah has finally returned for Liverpool after playing for Egypt in the AFCON. He was lively and impressive for Egypt in the tournament, and should start for Arne Slot's side when they face Bournemouth away this Premier League weekend. However, it's still too early to decide if Salah is worth a Fantasy Premier League transfer without seeing more from him, especially when his price is extremely high. The best thing to do now is avoid him.
Transfer in Yoane Wissa of you're willing to take a gamble
Yoane Wissa has been really impressive for Newcastle since recovering from a serious Injury. He was excellent in the Champions League game against PSV as well this week, as he scored one and assisted another. However, Eddie Howe has been rotating between Wissa and Woltemade in the past few weeks, which has caused a headache from an FPL perspective. Our personal opinion is that Wissa will start this EPL Weekend against Villa for Newcastle, especially since he was subbed out towards the end od the PSV game. Transferring in Wissa is undoubtedly a risk, and you'll have to decide if you want to take it or not.
