Goalkeeper
David Raya (Arsenal)
David Raya made a total of 6 saves against Club Brugge for Arsenal in the Champions League, and also helped his team keep a clean sheet as well. Thus, he deserves to be the best Goalkeeper pick in Matchday 6 UCL team of the week.
Defenders
Jules Kounde (Barcelona)
Jules Kounde almost single-handedly helped Barcelona secure a much-needed victory against Frankfurt in the UCL. He will definitely look back at his brace as one of his best performances for the Blaugrana.
Virgil Van Dijk (Liverpool)
After a series of underwhelming performances, Virgil Van Dijk had an impressive display for Liverpool against Inter Milan. His solid individual display and leadership of the defense helped Arne Slot's side keep a clean sheet and emerge victorious against them.
Cristian Romero (Tottenham)
Similar to Van Dijk, Cristian Romero has a solid performance that you'd usually expect from the captain of a top European club on Champions League nights. He helped Tottenham keep a clean sheet in what was a comfortable 3-0 win over Slavia Praha.
Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City)
This season has undoubtedly been the breakout season for Nico O'Reilly at Manchester City. He has slowly now made the left-back position his to lose at City. The English defender has now scored arguably the most important goal of his career so far against Real Madrid to help the Citizens earn 3 valuable points.
Midfielders
Martin Zubimendi (Arsenal)
Martin Zubimendi is that underrated Midfield signing that has simply been a game-changer for Arsenal. He put up a fantastic performance against Club Brugge for Arsenal, and even had an assist as well.
Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool)
Dominik Szoboszlai has been Liverpool's best player this season by a long mile, and he was yet again decisive by scoring the only goal of the game to help Liverpool beat Inter. Arne Slot definitely owes him a lot at this point.
Noni Madueke (Arsenal)
Noni Madueke has silenced all the doubters and haters who criticized Arsenal's decision to pay a huge transfer fee and get him from Chelsea. He has been fantastic since joining Mikel Arteta's side, and continued his solid form with an outrageous goal against Club Brugge.
Xavi Simons (Tottenham)
After a slow start to life at Tottenham, Xavi Simons is now finally finding his feet and starting to produce terrific performances for Spurs. He was excellent in the game against Slavia Praha, and would be hoping to continue the good form.
Marcus Rashford (Barcelona)
Marcus Rashford only played for 45 minutes in Barcelona's victory over Frankfurt, as he came on from the bench when Hansi Flick's side were trailing behind. That time was more than enough for him to make an instant impact and help them make a comeback.
Forwards
Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Erling Haaland finally scored his first ever goal against Real Madrid in his career. He took his penalty with brilliant composure to beat Thibaut Courtois. The Norwegian is just unstoppable.
