UEFA Champions League predictions for Matchday 8
Athletic Club vs Sporting
Athletic Club is struggling in La Liga right now, While Sporting are going strong in the league and also beat PSG last week after the heroics of Luis Suarez. We expect a Sporting win.
Prediction: Athletic Club 1-3 Sporting
Liverpool vs Qarabag FK
Arne Slot's Liverpool side have been terrible this season, and a large section of the fanbase wants the Dutchman sacked as well. Nonetheless, we predict a Liverpool win.

Barcelona vs Copenhagen
Barcelona have been fantastic under Hansi Flick, and they are currently top of La Liga as well. The Blaugrana should earn 3 points in a game we feel will be full of goals.

Monaco vs Juventus
Monaco have been quite underwhelming in the French league this season, while Juventus are coming from a huge 3-0 win over Napoli. The Bianconeri should have an easy win here.
Prediction: Monaco 0-2 Juventus
Ajax vs Olympiacos
Both sides are doing well in their respective leagues, but we feel Olympiacos are in better form at the moment and should earn a victory here.

PSG vs Newcastle
This is one of the top UCL matches of the week between two state-owned superclubs. We believe this'll be a tight contest that ends in a draw between PSG and Newcastle.
Prediction: PSG 2-2 Newcastle
Borussia Dortmund vs Inter Milan
Dortmund and Inter ended up losing against London clubs Tottenham and Arsenal respectively in the previous matchday. With the home advantage, we feel Dortmund will end up with a close victory.

Napoli vs Chelsea
Antonio Conte will face the side he once lifted Premier League with, and we are expecting his side to beat Chelsea and the 3 points after a disappointing Serie A loss against Juventus.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham Hotspur
Thomas Frank's Spurs are in horrible form at the moment, and the manager is in real danger of getting the sack. However, we believe the game against Frankfurt will extend Frank's time at the club.

Atlético Madrid vs Bodo/Glimt
Bodo/Glimt shocked the world with their 3-1 win over Manchester City, and we now expect another shocker that'll see them stop Diego Simeone's side from winning.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Villareal
Villareal are in great form in La Liga right now, while Leverkusen are not quite convincing in the Bundesliga. The Spanish side should win here.

After their shocking 2-3 loss against Manchester United, we expect Mikel Arteta's side to make a huge comeback with a statement victory over Kairat.

We believe the game between Pafos and Slavia Praha will be a really tight one that ends with the points being shared.

This will probably be yet another one of those close games with lots of close chances that eventually ends in a 1-1 stalemate.

After their shocking 1-2 loss over Augsburg in the Bundesliga, we believe they will thrash PSV and remind everyone how good they really are.
