The Czech Republic, now also known as Czechia, formerly played as Czechoslovakia, has some rich history in the FIFA World Cup, although the present generation might be unaware of this. After missing the tournament for four straight editions, Czechs have returned to the FIFA World Cup 2026 with a new hope.
