Five Best Picks Fantasy Premier League Game week 11 | Sports Social Blog

After a barrage of goals in the 10th Game Week of English Club Football, it’s time to play FPL once again. It’s going to be challenging this weekend because of the implications of the Carabao Cup, which surely has left a lot of players exhausted. Expect quite a few rotations in order to combat player fatigue from the midweek games. Here’s a look at some of the best picks for GW 11.

#1. Diego Rico (DEF; Bournemouth FC)

After being benched in 3 of the 1st 4 games of the Premier League, Rico has played every single game in its entirety.  Couple that Bournemouth didn’t have a midweek game and the chances of him playing are very high. He’s been getting decent points with 13 from the last 2 games. He’s playing against Manchester United, who have had 2 back-to-back victories (PL and Carabao Cup) but is also tired from the midweek game and underperforming in the season as a whole. Last but not least, he’s only going for 4.2 million making him one of the cheapest players in the game. Looking at all the factors, including his recent haul of points, there’s really no reason not to get him.

#2. Ricardo Pereira (DEF; Leicester City)

Ricardo Pereira, as a result of Leicester’s rather brilliant run, is sitting at the top of the defenders in terms of points. He’s managed 3 Clean Sheets and 2 goals. He has played every single match so far and was rested for the mid-week game against Burton, making it all the more apparent that he will play at the weekend. Leicester’s next match is against Crystal Palace and while they aren’t pushover’s, it’s not exactly the danger of something like Man City or Liverpool. He goes for 6.3 million.

#3. Youri Tielemans (MID; Leicester City)

Youri Tielemans has crept up the rankings and become one of the midfielders with the most no. of points. Leicester’s most expensive signing has seen a rise in form as of late, scoring 20 points over the course of the last two games in the PL. Combine that with the fact that he scored a goal in the midweek game against Burton and you could expect some contributions from him because of the momentum he has going. He’s going for 6.5 million making him a solid buy.

#4. Kevin De Bruyne ( MID; Manchester City)

Yes, he’s expensive at 10.2 million but he more than lives up to that figure. Kevin De Bruyne is sitting with the 2nd most no. of points in all of FPL. He’s had 12 goal contributions so far. Man City is facing Southampton, a team that got whacked 9-0 in the last PL match and lost to Man City 3-1 in the Football League Cup (most recent match). Given how poorly Southampton is doing and how often KDB is contributing, it’s an effective buy.

#5. Tammy Abraham ( FWD; Chelsea)

Tammy Abraham is the second-highest goalscorer in the league and is only going for 7.8 million. There are very few players who have scored more points than him. He has 9 goal contributions so far and has played in every single match. There’s also the fact that he’ll be playing against bottom-placed Watford this weekend, who are yet to win a single match. They were also on the receiving end of the 8-0 thrashing a few weeks ago. It would be reasonable to expect some goals from Chelsea, and Tammy Abraham being their star scorer, is bound to rack up some points.
