Now, Elias will be dreaming of winning the Olympics something Selecao has never achieved in the women’s football division and managing only Silvers in 2004 and 2008. Drawn in a challenging group, Brazil will not want to let go of their arms easily this time against Japan and World champions Spain but to be in the top three they have to strike out Nigeria from the equation. With just one loss in open play to show this year, the team is hoping for a positive start with the experience of legendary Marta and the young talent in store.
