Real Madrid on Monday confirmed that Eden Hazard had suffered psoas muscle injury which reports say could rule him out for 4-6 weeks.
Hazard made a 15-minute return to action at the weekend against Elche having been injured since January. Eden Hazard will miss Atalanta's return leg to Alfredo Di Stefano after the latest setback.
Eden Hazard rarely got injured at Chelsea, despite being the most fouled player in Europe. The Belgian has made only 35 appearances in all competitions since his big-money move to Madrid. Hazard has had a total of 11 injuries in the 20 months he has been in the Spanish capital.
It all started when Hazard arrived overweight after his transfer. The winger since then kept getting injured at regular intervals and couldn't get an extended run of games.
Hazard could still be a success at Real Madrid but there haven't been any signs whatsoever. With constant rumours linking Mbappe and Haaland to Real Madrid Hazard's time at Real Madrid might be very limited.
