India women’s hockey team is eyeing a chance to recreate history at the Asian Games 2026, as the team has been waiting for a long time to win its second Asiad gold medal. Kawasaki Juko Stadium in Kakamigahara is hosting the women’s field hockey matches at the Asian Games 2026 between 18 September and 3 October 2026.
A total of 20 players have been named in the Indian women’s field hockey squad for the Asian Games 2026. Also, it needs to be noted that the winners or gold medalists in the women’s field hockey event at the Asian Games 2026 will qualify directly for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics.
