Young Batters who have impressed at IPL 2022

Like we did an article for the 5 Young Bowlers who have impressed at IPL 2022, now is the time to show the same love to those Young Batters of this year’s IPL and as is the case every single year there are lots of young fearless batters who don’t care who is bowling to them ,they just see the ball and hit it. Some of them have been standouts not because they have scored a lot of runs but the potential they showed that how great they might become in a few years in the IPL.

Without wasting any more time let’s get into it, there might be some batters in this list who have played the IPL for a few years but they are so young that their true potential has been seen this season. So, let’s see who are the 5 best young batters of this IPL.

Tilak Varma - Mumbai Indians

He is the standout first season young player from the Mumbai Indians and he has been the shining light for them with the bat while the big names have struggled throughout the season. Tilak Verma has scored 368 runs till now in 12 matches and he has 2 more matches to go and hopefully he can cross the 450 run mark which will make it one of the best debut seasons in IPL history. Tilak has been a revelation as he is fearless and hits big sixes. He has hit 15 sixes till now and at an average of over 40 and a strike rate of 132+ he is a future star and can be a part of the Indian team as well.

Abhishek Sharma – Sunrisers Hyderabad

Like I said there will be a few players who have played IPL for a few years but his true potential and what he can do with the bat has been seen this year when he has opened and he has gone bang bang at the top and in 12 matches this season has hit 374 runs at an average of 41 and Abhishek Sharma can be a big star for the SRH team in the future years as well and he can bowl left arm spin as well so he is a multi faceted cricketer.

Dewald Brevis – Mumbai Indians

Although he did not play many matches for the Mumbai Indians but the Baby AB as he is vallec showed a lot of glimpses of what he can do with the bat if given the proper time and guidance. He hit a 112 meter six early in the tournament and he struck at more than 160 and being only 18 years old , the next 12-15 years are his to rule the IPL and international cricket.

Ayush Badoni – Lucknow Supergiants

Another young Indian batter who has impressed everyone this IPL has been the young Ayush Badoni from Lucknow Supergiants and he has shown that he is scared of no Bowler and that he will play all his shots. In the 13 Matches that he has played till now he has got 161 runs and his flick shots and his big sixes Despite being short in height is proof that he is a match winner. He will go a long way if guides properly and his best years are ahead of him.

Yashasvi Jaiswal – Rajasthan Royals

Yashasvi Jaiswal is another young player who has played a few years in the IPL with Rajasthan Royals but we are seeing his true capabilities this season and how destructive he can be. Just last night after Jos Buttler got out early it was Jaiswal who took.the attack to the opposition and scored a crucial 41 runs to give Rajasthan a great platform. He has scored a crucial 60+ score early in the tournament and he can hit 100 meter plus sixes aa well and he is just 21 so a long road ahead of him.
