It was the high-scoring IPL 2025 match between KKR and RR, where KKR scored 206/4 in 20 overs, and RR replied with 205/8 in 20 overs, as the hosts claimed a crucial one-run win. While RR batting majorly struggled in that thriller, captain Riyan Parag inspired the team with his fighting knock of 95 runs in 45 balls with six fours and eight sixes.

During that chase, RR skipper Riyan Parag smashed sixes in six consecutive legal balls he faced. In the 13th over, he smashed sixes to Moeen Ali on all the last five balls, while there was a wide ball after four consecutive sixes in the over. The RR captain became the fifth batter in IPL history to record five sixes in an over, and the third IPL batter to record five consecutive sixes in an over, while we are still waiting for the first IPL batter to smash six sixes in an over.
