MI’s largest wins (by runs)

  • In the IPL 2017, Mumbai Indians recorded their largest victory margin by runs after thrashing Delhi Daredevils (presently known as Delhi Capitals) by 146 runs in Delhi.   • In the IPL 2013, Mumbai Indians recorded their biggest winning margin by runs at home after beating Kolkata Knight Riders by 65 runs at Wankhede Stadium. After MI scored 170/6, KKR were all out for only 105 runs.

  • Mumbai Indians have recorded a 10-wicket win twice, once against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur in 2012 and the other against Chennai Super Kings in Sharjah in 2020.

  • Mumbai Indians recorded an eight-wicket win with 87 balls remaining against Kolkata Knight Riders at home (Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai) in 2008 after successfully chasing the 68-run target in just 5.3 overs. It was their largest win by balls remaining. 

  • Mumbai Indians’ biggest winning margin (by balls remaining) outside home was winning by eight wickets with 70 balls remaining against Rajasthan Royals at Sharjah in 2021.
