During their crucial home encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 60th game of the IPL 2023, Rajasthan Royals (RR) recorded the third-lowest completed total in IPL history.

The inaugural IPL champions, Rajasthan Royals, bowled first in that Jaipur game after losing the toss. Thanks to the skipper Faf du Plessis (55) and Glenn Maxwell (54), RCB scored 171/5 (20 overs) in the first innings.


Rajasthan Royals: 59 all out; third lowest completed total in IPL history

In reply, Rajasthan Royals were bundled out for only 59 runs in 10.3 overs. Only Shimron Hetmyer (35) and Joe Root (10) managed to reach double-digit scores in that unsuccessful chasing. RCB won that important game by 112 runs. Proteas left-arm pacer Wayne Parnell won the Player of the Match award after the RCB bowler had the bowling figures of 3-0-10-3.
