5. Sarfaraz Khan (17 years and 182 days)  


Very well known for his talent and amazing performance in domestic cricket, Sarfaraz Khan is considered one of the future players in the Indian national team. When he made his IPL debut at the age of 17 years and 182 days, serving for the Royal Challengers Bangalore against Chennai Super Kings in Bengaluru in the IPL 2015, he was the second youngest IPL debutant. He scored only 11 runs on his IPL debut, where CSK defended their 181 runs and won by 27 runs.


4. Pradeep Sangwan (17 years and 179 days)

When the left-arm pacer Pradeep Sangwan made his IPL debut at the age of 17 years and 179 days for Delhi Daredevils against Chennai Super Kings in Chennai in the 2008 edition, he was known as one of India's great future. He held the youngest IPL debut record for many years, while his IPL debut wasn't memorable. While Daredevils won that match eight wickets, majorly thanks to captain Virender Sehwag's top performances, Sangwan had the bowling figures of 4-0-40-0.  


3. Riyan Parag (17 years and 152 days)   


Riyan Parag was part of the Rajasthan Royals squad in the IPL when he made his IPL debut at the age of 17 years and 152 days in the 2019 season. Despite being a pivotal player in the WC-winning U-19 team, he was unnoticed in the auctions and was taken to the RR squad for the base price of 20 lakhs. During the IPL 2019, the Indian cricketer made his IPL debut when RR hosted Chennai Super Kings. While the young middle-order batter scored 16 off 14 balls with two fours, he had the bowling figures of 3-0-24-0.


2. Mujeeb Ur Rahman (17 years and 11 days)  


Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb ur Rahman was one of the players who got the most exciting prices at the auction of 2018. He was noticed among the cricketing community as the first player born in the 21st century to play the game as well as the youngest player in history to take a 5-wicket scalp in an ODI match. Mujeeb was bought by Kings XI Punjab and made a great debut season by taking 14 wickets from 11 matches. His first IPL match was just 11 days after his 17th birthday, when they faced Delhi Daredevils in Mohali, and the Afghan spinner picked up two wickets for 28 runs in four overs. He was previously the youngest IPL debutant.

 

1. Prayas Ray Barman (16 years and 157 days)  


Prayas Ray Barman, playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2019 season of IPL, wrote his name in record books by becoming the youngest player to debut in IPL history. Prayas made his debut for RCB when he was 16 years and 157 days old. He made his solitary appearance in the playing eleven against SRH, in which his bowling spell was quite expensive for the team. Prayas conceded a total of 56 runs from 4 overs. He was released by the team after the season and remained unsold in the recent auctions.
