This match will be a big opportunity for The Dogs to make sure that they have a lengthy run in AEW because they will face absolute legends of tag team wrestling. Jon Moxley vs Bandido for AEW Continental Championship
Jon Moxley has been a staple of AEW PPVs since the last 5 years and he will look to have one of the best Matches of his career against someone that has a completely different wrestling style. Bandido has not had a consistent creative direction but he has been featured prominently. He will look to win the title but Jon Moxley will retain because there are bigger opponents for him to face.
Shota Umino vs PAC for IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship
The newest title in NJPW is the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship and it is being held by Shota Umino. He will have to defend the title against one of the absolute best from England and the UK. PAC has been out of action due to injury and has not had a consistent run but this match could change that. This could be one of the best matches of the night. PAC will beat his opponent and win the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship.
Thekla vs Starlight Kid for AEW Women’s Championship
This is one of the two women’s matches that will take place at this show. NXT Great American Bash has 6 Matches and 3 are Women’s Matches. AEW has a stacked women’s roster and they should get more than 2 Matches. Thekla has been the champion for a long time but her opponent Starlight Kid is probably the least threatening Challenger she will face. This should be an easy win for Thekla and then she can look forward to All In at Wembley Stadium.
Mercedes Mone vs Maya World in Women’s Owen Hart Cup Final
This is the final of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup. Mercedes Mone entered as the Wild Card and she has entered the final of the tournament after being out of action for more than 6 months. Her opponent is Maya World who has won multiple matches to enter this final. This can be an incredible match if given 20+ minutes. Maya World will get a great showing because Mercedes Mone is one of the most giving wrestlers. However it will be Mercedes Mone that will win and she will get a title match at All In.
Will Ospreay vs Swerve Strickland in Men’s Owen Hart Cup Final
This is the match that fans are most excited about. These two men are two of the best professional wrestlers in AEW along with Kenny Omega. Swerve Strickland has become a heel and Will is one of the biggest babyfaces around. This will be over 30 minutes and they will tear the house down. Will Ospreay will win this match and go to Wembley stadium to have a World Title Match at All In.
Kenny Omega vs Zack Sabre Jr
The most technically proficient wrestling match of the year. This is the kind of match that fans want out of the Forbidden Door PPV. The best in AEW against the best in NJPW. Zack Sabre Jr is the most technically gifted professional wrestler in the world. Kenny Omega can match him and he can also hit bombastic moves like The V Trigger. This will be the best match of the show. Kenny Omega will win this match and the fans will be happy.
Team Briscoe vs Team MJF In a Steel Cage Match
This is a 12 man Steel Cage Tag Team Match. There will be 2 teams of 5 that will face each other. The two teams are Team Briscoe which has Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O Reily, Konosuke Takeshita and Darby Allin. Their opponents are MJF, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada and Andrade El Idolo of The Don Callis Family. This will be the craziest match of the night and could main event the show. The stipulation of the match is that if Team Briscoe wins then Mark Briscoe will earn an AEW World Championship Match against MJF. This will be 45 minutes of madness and in the end Team Briscoe will win.
