AEW Revolution 2026 Surprises

AEW Revolution is one of the Big 4 PPVs for the company along with Double or Nothing, All In and All Out. AEW Revolution has generally been one of those shows where there are surprises that take place every year. This year their show will be the last big opportunity for AEW before WrestleMania to make a statement and there are AEW superstars out injured that could make a shocking return.

Let’s look at the Surprises to expect at AEW Revolution 2026

Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe has been out injured in storyline for the last few months. He was taken out by Adam Page and he has been busy shooting a movie for Hollywood. Samoa Joe has recently said that it is time to return to wrestling and there can be no better stage than to make his return than AEW Revolution. He will be wrestling at Double or Nothing which is the next big PPV after this one. He will have a close eye on Jon Moxley vs Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW Continental Championship. AEW could use a bit of star power in their men’s roster.

Will Ospreay

The Aerial Assassin Will Ospreay has been absent from AEW programming for the last 5 months. He has been resting at home and getting in prime shape for the busy year ahead. The AEW fans would love to have him back and he will have a close eye on the main event between MJF vs Adam Page for the AEW World Championship. Will is one Of the Top 5 wrestlers in the world and one of the biggest babyfaces in wrestling. The AEW product will benefit greatly from the presence of Will Ospreay. He has unfinished business with MJF and Swerve Strickland.

Dustin Rhodes

Dustin Rhodes is one of the OGs of the AEW roster. He is also the order brother of the WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. He had double knee replacement surgery which was supposed to keep him out for a year but he has said that he hopes to be back this month. Dustin Rhodes is a former AEW TNT Champion and he will want to win it back from Kyle Fletcher. Dustin Rhodes is the heart of AEW as everyone loves him. Tony Khan has a lot of respect for him and he is 56 years old and only has a few years left in prime form.

Killer Kross and Scarlett

The biggest free agents in professional wrestling are most probably AEW bound. They have been out of WWE for a while but they haven’t signed to any wrestling promotion. Recently there was a chance that they could return back to WWE but nothing has happened so far. Tony Khan would want them to be in AEW and them as a pair is what makes the money. Killer Kross is a known name in professional wrestling so he would want to win a title and that would not be an issue as AEW has lots of belts. AEW Revolution is the perfect show for their AEW Debut.
