With several personal rivalries and championship stakes involved, AEW Revolution 2026 has the potential to become one of the most memorable wrestling shows of the year.
Let’s take a look at the full match card and preview for AEW Revolution 2026.
MJF vs Adam Page for AEW World Championship in a Texas Death match
This feud has reached a boiling point and these two men are the faces of the company. MJF is the current AEW World Champion and Adam Page is his one of the biggest challengers. They have had some incredible wrestling matches and this will most probably be their last encounter. They have gone personal in this feud and this match will be a Texas Death Match. Adam Page has had experience in this type of match against Swerve Strickland. MJF Will have to beat Adam Page at his own game. The fans will boo MJF out of the building and Adam Page will have his last shot at winning the AEW World Championship because if he loses then he won’t get to challenge for the World title.
FTR vs The Young Bucks for AEW Tag Team Championship
This will be a match that has happened a lot of times on PPV over the last many years but the next time it happens there is excitement amongst the fans. This time the roles are reversed as The Young Bucks are the babyfaces which they have never been in their lives. The fans are cheering for them and FTR are the tag team champions. These two teams always produce some of the best tag team matches of the year. This time as well it will be no different. FTR will be eager to take revenge for their past losses. The Young Bucks will have The Elite back then for the titles. This match could steal the show.
Jon Moxley vs Konosuke Takeshita for AEW Continental Championship
This is a rematch from the AEW Grand Slam Australia earlier in the year. Jon Moxley vs Konosuke Takeshita has been a great wrestling match because these two men are very experienced and they know how to make use of their abilities. The last time these two men faced each other it was a time limit draw and therefore Jon Moxley retained the title. However for their rematch at the PPV it will be a No Time Limit match meaning the match will not stop until there is a definitive winner for the championship. They might have a 30+ minutes match.
Andrade El Idolo vs Bandido
The tag team known as Brodido have gone their seperate ways as both men will have singles matches on the PPV. First it will be Andrade El Idolo who will be with Don Callis will take on Bandido. Andrade El Idolo will be motivated to win this match as he lost against Adam Page at AEW Grand Slam Australia. Bandido will try to set himself as a singles star again and there can be no better opponent than Andrade. This will be a fast paced match and Don Callis will play an important role. This might not be the most high profile match on the card but it could be a sleeper hit.
Swerve Strickland vs Brody King
The 5th Match on the card was the match between Swerve Strickland vs Brody King. Swerve Strickland has turned heel and he attacked Kenny Omega brutally. Brody King was not going to take this lying down. This match was made because Swerve Strickland was crossing the line and attacking everyone. Brody King has obviously established himself as a singles star as he took on MJF for the AEW World Championship at Grand Slam Australia. This match will be a big test for Swerve Strickland as a heel again and if he can get the fans to boo him again. AEW Revolution can be a major turning point for the company.
Thekla vs Kris Statlander in 2 Out of 3 Falls Match for AEW Women’s Championship
The first women’s match on the show will be a good one. It will be a match in which two of the Home grown talents from AEW will take part for the AEW Women’s title. It will be Thekla who is the current AEW Women’s Champion and she will take on the former champion Kris Statlander. A 2 Out of 3 Falls Match is one of the most physically demanding matches in professional wrestling. These two women do not like each other and they will try to win it in the first 2 falls which generally never happens. These two women should get over 25 minutes so that they can have a brilliant match while telling a story.
