AEW WrestleDream is one of the final PPVs of the year. The year 2025 has been a mixed bag for the company. They have had some Banger matches throughout the year but their storytelling and their ratings have not been good. They have wrestlers who have suffered injuries. There can be big surprises at AEW WrestleDream 2025 on 18th October 2025.
Let’s look at the Surprises to expect at AEW WrestleDream 2025
MJF
MJF is not hurt but he is filming movies. He will be back in AEW and this could be the show that he decides to show up at. MJF has been feuding with Adam Page for the World Heavyweight Championship. Adam Page is facing Samoa Joe and MJF will have a close eye on that match. After the match MJF can surprise Adam Page and continue their feud and have their title match. MJF will be booed out of the building and he still has the contract after winning the Casino Gauntlet Match.
Wardlow
Wardlow returned to AEW and joined the Don Callis Family. He has not been seen since. Tony Khan fumbled him and Wardlow even got hurt. The hope is that Wardlow did not get hurt severely and he can come back as soon as possible. AEW WrestleDream will be a great show to return to and gain the attention of the fans. The Don Callis Family will have a tag team title match and he can help the members of the family and he can be back on AEW TV.
Jay White
Jay White was one of the marquee signings that AEW made when WWE was banned from signing new talents. They were merging with TKO and now Jay White must be thinking that if he could have waited a few more months then he would have been a bigger star. He has been out injured and AEW WrestleDream will be the show where he could return to TV. Jay White is one of the best wrestlers in the world. He can go after Kyle Fletcher and the TNT Championship.
Queen Aminata
Queen Aminata has also been out with injury and her absence has been felt across the women’s division. She was one of the most popular women on the roster. Queen Aminata can return to AEW during the Jamie Hayter vs Thekla Match. She has had beef with Thekla. Queen Aminata can then go after the TBS Championship. The women’s division is growing and Queen Aminata can win championship Gold soon. This will be a very nice surprise.
