TNA Slammiversary 2025 was the highest attended show for the company in North America. They had close to 8000 fans at the arena and everyone was ready for a Banger wrestling show. There were more people watching at home as well. There were some awesome moments and some questionable decisions made on the show tonight.
Let’s look at the Results for TNA Slammiversary 2025
Mustafa Ali beat Cedric Alexander
This was the first match of the show. The fans were chanting TNA before the match began. This was a high flying masterpiece as was expected. Cedric Alexander gave the Michinoku driver to Mustafa Ali on top of his security. Mustafa Ali was dropped on his back on the steel steps. Mustafa Ali gave a beautiful 450 Splash to Cedric Alexander and he was kicked out. Mustafa Ali kicked out of the Lumbar Check which is the finisher of his opponent. This was a 15 minute Banger. Cedric Alexander gave Tasha Steelz the Lumbar Check but Mustafa Ali gave another 450 Splash to get the win. A perfect start to the show.
The System and Matt Cardona beat DarkState
The second match of the show was a 8 man tag team match. This was DarkState from NXT and they were taking on The System and Matt Cardona. This was a short match which lasted 7 minutes. The teams started fighting even before the match began. JDC flew over the top rope using a chair on top of everyone. The fans were firmly in the corner of TNA. Matt Cardona tried to get the hot tag but DarkState took the advantage. The end of this match happened when Matt Cardona hit the Radio silence followed by the pin. This was a big win for TNA.
Indi Hartwell beat Tessa Blanchard
This was the first out of 2 women’s matches that took place at this show. This was the match where there was hatred between both women. The women were given close to 16 minutes to have a great match and that’s exactly what they did. The fans at the arena were not thrilled to see Tessa Blanchard. Indi Hartwell was showing that she is no pushover as she hit punches and a clothesline. She hit Hurts Donut which Tessa kicked out of. Tessa Blanchard hit her finisher Magnum but Indi Hartwell kicked out. The match came to a close when Indi Hartwell gave another Hurts Donut finisher and beat Tessa Blanchard. After the match Tessa Blanchard viciously attacked Indi and took out the announcer.
Jacy Jayne beat Masha Slamovic to become TNA Knockouts Champion and NXT Women’s Champion
This was a match that was very important in the show. It was a title match. Masha Slamovic had her trainer Johnny Rudz at ringside. The fans chanted TNA. Fatal Influence interfered in the match early to give Jacy Jayne the advantage. Jacy Jayne tried to use the NXT title but was unable to do so. Therefore she hit Masha Slamovic with the TNA Knockouts Championship but got a 2 count. Masha Slamovic hit the Snow Plow but she got a 2 count. To end the match Jacy Jayne hit the Rolling Encore and she won the TNA Knockouts Championship. This was a very chaotic 13 minute match.
Leon Slater beat Moose for TNA X Division Championship
This match was easily one of the best Matches on the entire show. It was Moose vs Leon Slater. Moose tried to use his power advantage early in the match but Leon Slater used his high flying tactics to hit a Rana on his opponent on the floor. Moose hit a Pop Up Powerbomb but he only got a 2 count. There was a chop off and Leon Slater got the better of the exchange. Then both men hit Clotheslines but neither man got the pin. Leon Slater hit the Blue Thunder Bomb but Moose kicked out at 2. Moose hit a vicious spear on Leon Slater but Leon Slater would not quit. At the end of the match, Leon Slater hit 2 consecutive Swanton Bombs to get the win and become TNA X Division Champion. After the match, Get Ready to Fly hit and AJ Styles was back in TNA after more than 11 years. Leon Slater and everyone lost their minds. AJ Styles put over Leon Slater. The 8000 fans at the arena were there for this moment.
The Hardys beat The Nemeths, First Class and The Rascalz for TNA World Tag Team Championship
This 17 minute ladder match for the TNA Tag Team Championship was one of the best tag team Ladder Matches in years. Jeff Hardy hit AJ Francis with a Swanton Bomb followed by the Twist of Fate by Matt Hardy. One of the best moments of the match was when AJ Francis hit a MoonSault from the top of the ladder to The Nemeths and The Rascalz. Jeff Hardy hit the Rascalz with 2 Swanton Bombs. The Hardys won the match as Jeff Hardy clinched the titles and won the tag team titles. After the match Bully Ray came out and he challenged The Hardys for a tag team title match against The Dudleys at TNA Bound for Glory.
Trick Williams beat Joe Hendry and Mike Santana for TNA World Championship
This was the main event of the show. All of the 8000 fans at the arena wanted Mike Santana to win the TNA World Championship. Trick Williams came out with a choir which was great. Joe Hendry hit the Standing Ovation on Trick Williams but Frankie Kazarian pulled the referee out. Joe Hendry hit the Standing Ovation on Mike Santana but he kicked out. Mike Santana gave 2 Spin the Clock clotheslines but Trick Williams threw Mike Santana out of the ring and won the match. This was 13 minutes and the most controversial booking decision of the show.
