Co-hosts Sri Lanka are ready for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. India and Sri Lanka are jointly hosting the tournament from February 7 to March 8, 2026.
The three-time T20 World Cup finalists and T20 World Cup 2014 champions Sri Lanka failed to qualify for the Super Eight stage in the last edition (2024). However, as the hosts, Sri Lanka have directly qualified for the tournament.
Sri Lanka will start the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign from Group B along with Australia, Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Oman. After playing all their group stage matches at home in Sri Lanka, they will play all their Super Eight fixtures (subject to qualify) at home too from Group 2.
