We have two more European teams for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 at the end of the 2025 Men's T20 World Cup Europe Regional Final. Apart from unshocking table-toppers, there is a new history in European cricket with a stunning T20 WC debutant.
The Netherlands hosted the 2025 Men's T20 World Cup Europe Regional Final between the 5th and 11th July 2026. Apart from the hosts, Scotland, Italy, Jersey, and Guernsey participated in the tournament. The Netherlands and Scotland earned the direct qualification for the Regional Final, and Italy, Jersey, and Guernsey qualified for the Regional Final after winning the European Qualifier A, B, and C, respectively. The top two teams of the Regional Final would earn tickets for the next T20 World Cup.
At the end of the 2025 Men's T20 World Cup Europe Regional Final, the Netherlands finished as the points table toppers while Italy finished in the second position. The Netherlands earned six points in four games with three wins and one defeat, while Italy and Jersey both earned five points with two wins, one loss, and one no result, but Italy assured their first WC qualification due to the higher net run rate. Scotland surprised with the fourth-place finish after earning three points, and Guernsey finished in last place with only one point.
So, a total of four European teams will participate in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which India and Sri Lanka will jointly host between February and March 2026. Apart from the Full Members England and Ireland, Netherlands and Italy will also participate in this tournament.
