Jannik Sinner and Linda Noskova were crowned the men's and women's singles champions at Wimbledon 2026.

The third Grand Slam of 2026 has been completed. Wimbledon 2026 saw some upsets and comebacks for some of the top players. This was 2 weeks of high-quality tennis from the men and the women. Jannik Sinner won the Men’s Singles Title, and Linda Noskova won the Women’s Singles Title.


Let’s look at the Results for Wimbledon 2026


Men’s Singles

The Men’s Singles side of the tournament saw the 3 players who were the favorites before the tournament began reach very far. Jannik Sinner was coming back after a disastrous French Open. Alexander Zverev won the French Open, and Novak Djokovic was always there in contention. The breakout star of the tournament was local lad Arthur Fery. In the semifinals Jannik Sinner beat Novak Djokovic in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, and 6-4. Alexander Zverev won the semifinal by 7-6, 6-2, and 6-4. The final was a tight 4-set match. The scores were 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, and 6-4. Jannik Sinner defended his title.


Women’s Singles


The women’s singles, as always, was the most open draw of the tournament. Pre-tournament favorites like Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek were eliminated early. Coco Gauff reached the semifinal, but she was beaten by Karolina Muchova by 6-2, 1-6, and 7-6. Naomi Osaka reached the quarterfinal. Linda Noskova won her semifinal by 6-4 and 6-4. The two players that reached the final were friends, and they had a great match as they played a 3-set thriller. Linda Noskova won the match 6-2, 5-7, and 6-3. She won her first Grand Slam title.


Men’s Doubles  

The Men’s Doubles side of the tournament was an electric affair. The final was played between the number 1 seeds who were Henry Patten from the UK and Harri Heliovaara. They were facing the number 6 seeds, Mate Pavić and Marcelo Arévalo. This was only a 2-set match, but both sets consisted of the highest-quality tennis. The number 1 seeds won narrowly by 7-6 and 7-6. The Men’s Doubles should get more spotlight.


Women’s Doubles  

The Women’s Doubles was also a tournament that saw some of the best doubles tennis players play at the top of their game. Karolina Muchova, who was the singles runner-up, is also a Grand Slam champion in the doubles. The final of the women's doubles was played by the number 10 seeds Guo Huanyu and Kristina Mladenovic against the number 2 seeds Luisa Stefani and Gabriella Dabrowski. The number 10 seeds won the match 6-3 and 7-5.


Mixed Doubles  

The mixed doubles tournament was the one that was over first. The final of the mixed doubles was played between the number 2 seeds Jelena Ostapenko and Marcelo Arevalo vs. Marc Polmans and Storm Hunter. The match was very close, as it was a 3-set thriller. The scoreline was 4-6, 7-5, and 6-2. Marcelo Arevalo won two medals at this tournament, and he was the runner-up in the Men’s Doubles.
