The 2021-2023 ICC World Test Championship winners Australia are ready for the 2025-2027 ICC World Test Championship after finishing as the runners-up in the last edition, while the Baggy Greens suffered a defeat in Final against South Africa this June. In three ICC World Test Championships, Australia have never finished below the top three places, as they finished in third place in the first WTC cycle.

Australia tour of West Indies in 2025: Frank Worrell Trophy 2026 (3-match Test series)  

25-29 June: West Indies vs Australia (Kensington Oval, Bridgetown)

3-7 July: West Indies vs Australia (Grenada National Cricket Stadium, St. George's)

12-16 July: West Indies vs Australia (Sabina Park, Kingston)

  • Australia last lost a Test match in West Indies in 2003 St John’s. Since then, they have recorded six Test wins and two Test draws in West Indies, last playing in June 2015. 

  • Australia last lost a Test series in West Indies in 1991. Since then, Australia have recorded five Test series wins and one Test series draw in West Indies, including all last four Test series wins. 


England tour of Australia in 2025/26: Ashes 2025/26 (5-match Test series)  

21-25 November, 2025: Australia vs England (Perth Stadium, Perth)

4-8 December, 2025: Australia vs England (The Gabba, Brisbane)

17-21 December, 2025: Australia vs England (Adelaide Oval, Adelaide)

26-30 December, 2025: Australia vs England (Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne)

4-8 January, 2026: Australia vs England (Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney)

  • Australia last suffered a home Test defeat against England in January 2011. After that, they have won 13 home Tests and drawn two other home Tests against England.

  • After losing the home Ashes 2010/11 series, Australia have recorded the last three home Ashes series wins.


Bangladesh tour of Australia in 2026 (2-match Test series) – August 2026  

  • It will be the second Test series that Australia will host Bangladesh, who first toured in Australia in 2003, where the hosts won the two-match Test series by 2-0.


Australia tour of South Africa in 2026/27 (3-match Test series) – September-October 2026  

  • Before their last Test series defeat in South Africa in 2018, visitors Australia had recorded seven Test series undefeated streaks in South Africa (five series wins and two series draws) since their reintroduction in international cricket in 1991. 


New Zealand tour of Australia in 2026/27: Trans-Tasman Trophy 2026/27 – December 2026 – January 2027  

  • Visitors Australia are 12 Tests unbeaten in New Zealand (11 Test wins and one Test draw), including winning all the last seven Tests. Last time, Australia suffered a Test defeat in New Zealand in the 1993 Auckland Test. 

  • After losing their away Test series in New Zealand in 1990, Australia have recorded five successive Test series wins after a Test series draw in New Zealand.


Australia tour of India in 2026/27: Border-Gavaskar Trophy (5-match Test series) - January-February 2027  

  • Australia have suffered last five Test series defeats in India. Last time they won a Test series in India in October-November 2004.
