Indian Players Who Will Be in High Demand in WPL 2026 Mega Auction

The WPL Mega Auction will take place on 27th November 2025. There are a few Indian players that will be in demand at the auction. Most of the star Indians have been retained by their franchises. There are some quality batters, Spinners and all rounders in the mix.

Let’s look at the 7 Indian Players that will be in demand at the WPL Mega Auction

Deepti Sharma

It is absolutely no surprise that Deepti Sharma will be the most in demand Indian player at the Mega Auction. It was very surprising that the UP Warriorz team released her. She was the Player of the tournament in the recently concluded 2025 Women’s World Cup. She is one of the best spinners in the world and she is also a batter who can bat anywhere from number 3 till number 6. A team will get 2 players for the price of One. UP Warriorz have the RTM Card and they will think about using it on Deepti Sharma.

Pratika Rawal

Pratika Rawal has been unsold in the last 2 WPL Auctions but her time will finally arrive in this mega auction. She was one of the best batters in the tournament and she will recover from her injury in time for the upcoming WPL season. Pratika Rawal will be a reliable opening batter who could bat at a strike rate of 140. She has earned a lot more fans for the way in which she handled herself through her leg injury. A team like Gujarat Giants can bid for her.

Renuka Singh Thakur

Probably the best fast bowler in India. It was a shock that RCB decided to not retain her. She will be in high demand at the Mega Auction as all the teams need quality fast bowlers who could swing the ball and take wickets early in the innings. Renuka Singh was also incredible in the World Cup which India won. RCB will look to buy her back but they might have to compete with every team.

Harleen Deol

Harleen Deol is the best Indian fielder. She is also one of the most experienced players in the world. She may not have a high strike rate but she knows how to rotate strike and hit boundaries. Her fielding will save her team 10-15 runs which could be decisive between a win and a loss. Harleen Deol was also a part of the World Cup winning team for India. She was in Gujarat Giants but they might not buy her back. She just needs to work on her strike rate and everything will be great.

Kiran Navgire

There are only a few players in Indian women’s cricket who possess the raw power that Kiran Navgire does. The only other name that comes to mind is Richa Ghosh. Richa Ghosh has been retained by RCB for 2.75 Crores. She was one of the most important players for India in the World Cup. Kiran Navgire has that kind of talent and skill. Someone just needs to coach her and take her to the next level. She is an opening batter who when in song can finish the match in the first 6 overs in the powerplay. A team like Mumbai Indians could help her realize her potential.

Radha Yadav

Radha Yadav is one of the best spinners that India have. She is vastly experienced and she knows all the tricks in the book. She was an important bowler for India in the 2025 World Cup. She is a left arm spinner which gives her an edge as she is a rare type of player. Radha Yadav will get high bids because teams do not have high quality Indian spinners. A team like UP Warriorz will look to get her services in the WPL.

Uma Chetry

One of the youngest talents in the Indian team. She is someone that is seen as the future of Indian cricket. She is a wicket Keeper batter that can bat in the middle order. Uma Chetry might not be as powerful as Richa Ghosh but she is a player that teams would want to have and they would want to groom her and make her play for India on a regular basis. She will also be in very high demand at the Mega Auction on 27th November.
