WWE SummerSlam 2026 has happened, and after that the WWE will see new storylines, and people who were out for some reason or the other will make their returns to WWE TV. The two most prominent women in that list were Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer. They were both out of the WWE SummerSlam card, as both wanted time with their families.
Let’s talk about the returns of Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer.
Liv Morgan has a lot of problems
Liv Morgan beat Iyo Sky clean, and she had her first title defense in 100 days as champion. Liv was feeling very good about herself, and The Judgement Day beat Sol Ruca on Raw. However, their celebration was cut short as Becky Lynch made her return to a huge pop from the fans. She has become a babyface once again after being a great heel for years. She said to Liv Morgan that she wants her title and that she will make sure that Liv Morgan defends her title sooner this time.
She made fun of her accent and delivered a sharp bar at the end. It was the Man of the Old, and it was good to see the baby-faced Becky Lynch. Liv Morgan, along with The Judgement Day, walked out of the ring. As they were about to leave, the music of Stephanie Vaquer hit, and the fans lost their minds. She has been out since WrestleMania, which means 4 months. During these 4 months, Stephanie Vaquer healed her body and rested. Now she must be fresh, and she has come to regain the title that was taken from her.
She put a beat down to Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez first, and then Stephanie Vaquer went for Liv Morgan. Liv was cornered, and Becky Lynch was enjoying the show sitting on the top rope. Stephanie Vaquer took out Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch, and Stephanie Vaquer had a tense face-to-face.
This was a great segment, as it achieved so many things. The Women’s World Championship has become an important title once again after SummerSlam. Having two of the top babyfaces, Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer, going after the title at the same time will be good for the brand. A strong feud will now ensue, and a triple threat match will happen soon. WWE needed this boost of energy, and they were waiting for SummerSlam to be over. Raquel Rodriguez will go do her own thing as the Intercontinental Champion. And Iyo Sky will not be far behind because Triple H loves her.
