Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair-are two of the greatest women’s wrestlers of the last 10 years and they had contrasting paths in WWE. Charlotte was always at the top and Becky Lynch was at the bottom of the card when she started, yet both of them had a very close friendship.
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair started in NXT together in 2014 where both of them had different placements on the card and Becky worked so hard that she was pushed to the top of the women’s division and she became a part of the Four Horsewomen of WWE with Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Bayley. These 4 women were the standard bearers of NXT at that time and some of them had great wrestling Matches.
The Friendship
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair were the best of friends when they started, they used to spend all the time with each other going on tour rides, having tea and making fun of everybody else. Charlotte also taught Becky some tricks of pro wrestling and as a result Becky became that much better. Becky was always the supportive friend at first when all the opportunities went to Charlotte Flair.
The Tension
It all started at SummerSlam of 2018 where Becky and Charlotte had a match for the Women’s championship and Charlotte won that match but what happened after that match changed
Becky’s career for the better. She snapped on Charlotte Flair and the crowd went ballistic for her and from that point there was no looking back for Becky Lynch and Charlotte started getting insecure of Becky and the tension started simmering between the Two.

The In Ring magic
Both Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair had a long rivalry on WWE television in the year 2018-19 and between that time they used to have cracking matches everytime. The fans used to love their in ring chemistry and they were like a wrestling marriage made in heaven. They had the honor of main eventing WrestleMania together and they had a great match in the main event along with Ronda Rousey. However, their best match happened at the very first Evolution PPV event where they had a last woman standing match and it was brutal, had lots of uncomfortable spots and great wrestling and that match cemented Becky as the top female in WWE.

The breaking point and the fallout
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair had tension simmering between them since a long time , since Becky’s rise to be honest. The animosity was growing and both of them grew further apart and the breaking point came in an episode of SmackDown on 22nd October, 2021 where there was a segment where both Becky and Charlotte were supposed to exchange their titles and Becky was supposed to have a Becky Two Belts moment but Charlotte dropped her title on purpose and the segment was ruined. In the back ,both of these women had a shouting match at each other and from that night they became real life enemies and lost respect for each other.
The Final match
After all this fallout and ugliness in front of the world to see ,they had a match scheduled at WWE Survivor Series this year and neither wanted to work the match but they remained professional to the task at hand and nobody was sure about how this match would pan out , it could have been amazing or trash. However, when the match started it was clear that both of them wanted to hurt each other and in the process gave the fans one of the best matches all year thus again showing how great their wrestling chemistry is inside the ring.
