WWE Money in the Bank 2024 Results

The 2024 Money in the Bank happened in Toronto Canada at the Scotiabank Arena in front of 20,000 fans who were loud for the entire 3 hours and 15 minutes. The matches on the show each got time to grow and every single one of the matches was great. It built stories for SummerSlam which will take place on 3rd August 2024 at the Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Drew McIntyre won the Men’s Money in the Bank 2024 Ladder Match

The first match on the show was the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. There were 2-3 great options which made this match unpredictable. The competitors in this match were Jey Uso, Drew McIntyre, Andrade, Chad Gable, Carmelo Hayes and LA Knight. This was a 16:30 minutes match. This was the second best Money in the Bank Ladder Match on the show. The men gave it their all and there were so many Stories in this match but there was no interference. There were some insane bumps like Andrade giving the Powerbomb to Carmelo Hayes from the ladder. Drew McIntyre won this match and this was a part of a story throughout the night. He said that he would cash in his contract In the World Heavyweight Championship match.

Sami Zayn beat Bron Breakker for Intercontinental Championship

This was the match that the fans in Toronto Canada were extremely excited for. Sami Zayn is one of those wrestlers that have so many cities always rooting for him. Many other wrestlers do not even have one City. This was an incredible match were Bron Breakker showed why he is the best young prospect in the WWE. Sami Zayn is one of the best wrestlers in the world. This was a 13 minutes match. Bron Breakker is a special talent but Sami Zayn won this match and now he will look forward to SummerSlam.

John Cena announces retirement from WWE

After this match something happened that was both a happiness and a sadness for the WWE universe. Trish Stratus first came out to the stage and she introduced John Cena. The 20,000 fans in Toronto Canada lost their minds and they gave him a reception fit for the best of all time. John Cena then announced that 2025 will be the last year for him as an in ring competitor. This was a shock for the WWE Fans. There are millions of fans who started watching WWE because of John Cena. Cena’s journey of more than 20 years in WWE earned him a lot of fans.

Damian Priest beat Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre for World Heavyweight Championship

This was the 3rd match in the show and the one where all the chaos was expected to happen. It was Damian Priest vs Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins was looking incredible after having his knee surgery. He was moving like he was a 25 year old Seth Rollins. Damian Priest had a great showing and he showed that he deserved to be World Heavyweight Champion. As the match was going on, Drew McIntyre decided to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and make it a Triple Threat match. However it was once again CM Punk who cost Drew McIntyre again and this was the 3rd time this year. Damian Priest hit the South of Heaven and retained his Championship. He will face Gunther at SummerSlam where he will probably lose the title. This was a 15 minute match.

Tiffany Stratton won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Without a doubt this was the best match on the entire show. The Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match is one of the best Money in the Bank Ladder Matches of all time. The Six women included Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, Zoey Stark, Iyo Sky and Naomi. In this match there were so many incredible spots involving all the Six women. The ladders were used to the optimum and it was looking like Chelsea Green was going to win but it was Tiffany Stratton who won the match and now she is a star in WWE. This was a 17 minute car crash in the best way possible.

The Bloodline beat Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton

This six man tag team match was the main event of the show and this was like any other six man tag team match but it was very good. This was a 25 minute wrestling classic. Cody Rhodes and his team had the upper hand for some moments before it was The Bloodline of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu who dominated the match. Jacob Fatu had his first WWE match and he was super impressive doing all the high flying spots that men of his size should not be able to do. There were tables involved and in the end Solo Sikoa pinned Cody Rhodes and this means that at SummerSlam it will be Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa for the WWE Championship.
