There was a lot of anticipation for this match and the fans were looking forward to what would happen. The result was Oba Femi won the match and was instantly made into a superstar. However after the match, Brock Lesnar took off his gloves and boots and left them In the ring.
Let’s talk about the Great Brock Lesnar
The Beast Incarnate Goes into the Sunset
Brock Lesnar is the single biggest freak that the WWE has ever had. He debuted in 2002 alongside Paul Heynan and he took out The Hardy Boys after the night of WrestleMania 18. He was immediately highlighted as the next big thing and WWE strapped the rocket onto him. He won the King of The Ring in the same year and challenged The Rock at SummerSlam 2002 in the main event. That was something that never happened. Brock Lesnar was not only in the main event but he beat The Rock clean to win the WWE Championship. As a result he became the then youngest WWE Champion of all time. He then would win the Royal Rumble in 2003 and main event WrestleMania against Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship and win again. This was the fastest rise that anyone had ever seen in the WWE. However it all ended in 2004 for his first run when he left WWE.
After leaving WWE, most men enjoy their retired lives or do something different. Brock Lesnar was a freak and therefore he went to the UFC. This was the first time that a major WWE superstar had arrived at the UFC. He made an instant impact and by his third fight he was the UFC Heavyweight Champion by beating Randy Couture. He became the biggest draw in the UFC and there were lots of WWE superstars who would come to support him. He left the UFC and came back to WWE in 2012. He took out John Cena in one of the greatest Raw after WrestleMania moments of all time. He had a great rivalry with Triple H which ran for a year and Brock Lesnar won 2 out of the 3 Matches. Then came 2014 and WrestleMania 30. The Undertaker was 21-0 at WrestleMania and Brock Lesnar was his 22nd opponent. Everyone assumed that The Undertaker would win and continue his streak. However Brock Lesnar shocked the world and he was the 1 in 21-1. That will forever be his single greatest WWE accomplishment. He then squashed John Cena at SummerSlam 2014 with 16 German Suplexes.
Brock Lesnar had a legendary rivalry against Roman Reigns. They had 3 WrestleMania main events against each other. The one in 2015 was the best out of all 3 because they were physical with each other. They had another Banger at SummerSlam 2022 which is one of the classics in the Post COVID era. He was someone who installed fear in the minds of his opponents and he could win any match. Brock Lesnar has won everything in WWE. He is a 10 time WWE Champion, 2 Time Royal Rumble Winner, King of The Ring Winner, Money in the Bank Winner, multiple WrestleMania main events. Last year he squashed John Cena and had his first ever Wargames Match. Brock Lesnar chose Oba Femi as his successor and the one to retire him. Now, he can enjoy retirement life with his kids in Canada as a farmer. Paul Heynan has been the most important part of the WWE journey of Brock Lesnar as he was the one who was with him at the end last night. Brock Lesnar will be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame next year and Paul Heynan should Induct him. Thank You Brock Lesnar for bringing credibility to professional wrestling and being the standard for 25 years.
