NXT Great American Bash 2026 is the underdog amongst the 4 PPVs that will take place on the weekend of 27th and 28th June. The other 3 shows are all main PPVs of their respective promotions and WWE main roster also has a big PPV. There are 6 Marches at this show and the scope for Surprises is there.
Let’s look at the Surprises to expect at NXT Great American Bash 2026
Natalya
Natalya has not been seen on WWE TV regularly. She has wanted to perform under the Nattie gimmick and NXT could give her that opportunity. Lola Vice will be facing Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s title and Natalya can make her return after the match and confront the winner of that match and start a Feud for the NXT Women’s title. She also has previous beef with Lola Vice.
Channing Lorenzo
Tony D Angelo is facing Naraku for the NXT Championship In the main event. Tony D Angelo is the more experienced NXT wrestler but there is zero doubt that Naraku is the better overall professional wrestler. This match could use a return as Channing Lorenzo could make a shock return and cost Tony D Angelo the NXT Championship. These two men have had a long history and there could not be s better way to take revenge.
Sol Ruca
Sol Ruca will not be present in Saudi Arabia for WWE Night of Champions as she doesn’t have a match advertised. Therefore Sol Ruca could be used at NXT Great American Bash. Zaria has a title match against Tatum Paxley and Sol Ruca has not forgotten Zaria even though they had their last brutal match. Zaria almost cost Sol Ruca her career so Sol Ruca could want revenge and cost Zaria the match. And she would get a great reaction from the NXT fans.
Johnny Gargano
Johnny Gargano has been sitting idle on WWE TV and has had nothing to do. He had a brief run in NXT earlier but it is time to give him an extended run as Johnny wrestling. He should be allowed to show that he is still one of the best in the world. NXT could use Johnny Gargano at the top of the Card to help the younger wrestlers. And Candice Lerae could also return to bolster the women’s division.
